GH: Character recast
I believe he's on contract, so hopefully they do have some story in mind. I just don't have any good expectations for this creative team.

I think it is likelier Harris wins and appoints Pete somewhere vs. vice versa. But who knows.

I was going to post that one - thanks for doing it.

GH: Character recast
When I heard about this not long ago I groaned at the obvious casting choice, but Van does look good and seems in good humor in his new interview. I'll give it a chance, I guess.

Supposedly Korte is a fan of Anna as well. The problem is all their stories for her are miserable. Brennan is still a glorified dayplayer to me and a waste of time. It was obvious he was just another thug in PM's Pikeman story, then they began muddling around trying to make him work as an actual love interest for Carly as the latest attempt at Jarly hit the skids. I've long had plans for scheming gay Alec, lol. Though I think he would probably pal up with schemer Joss as her mini-me for a bit before coming into his own and turning over a slightly better leaf, a la Brenda.

Oh man: Non-paywall version of the VF piece. I doubt Nuzzi (among others, possibly) can survive this at NY Magazine, not that I thought they would be able to keep her period. Her descent was always inevitable to me, it's only coming faster.

Good for Stevie. I'll listen to that later. I take no pleasure in posting Nate Silver, but even he admits the fundamentals of the race as his new MAGA fanbase revolts:

I also think it's fairly likely Jason and Anna are kissing in the cells to distract the guards. But that's almost certainly not the end of it. As I said elsewhere, soaps usually don't do this kind of material unless they are playing with pursuing a romance. Finola's new interview today about the scenes certainly suggests there's more to their motivation for a kiss than just that kind of action. Jason and Anna have been tight for months, and Steve is out of romantic options on the show.

Exactly. He vetoed Jason and Carly for years too, til he didn't. Suddenly Jason was down to fúck two women in the same year. Only reason he and Carly haven't in the 2020s is because Steve quit last time and they still have zero chemistry this time while the ratings cratered during his comeback.

Clint calling Kevin a pinhead after the yacht getaway fiasco with Stephanie and Joey in August '91 is hysterical. I have rarely (if ever) seen Viki and Clint more angry with Kevin or him being more stupid. I believe Carlson's name was still officially on the show on 8/8/91, but in addition to Jason Webb's arrival the sudden resurgence of Sarah into Bo and Cassie's relationship together and Cassie's great monologue about haunted houses feel very much like the new team to me.

I am not convinced she will lose either, though I think PA is the more likely win. I also think in the end we will take GA as we have the last two cycles. Morning Consult is not always accurate but still worthwhile:

I think she'll take PA, myself. Doom tourists love to hype up Shapiro and downplay Walz, but he's been very strong for the campaign. Wow. The last Emerson polls were apparently inaccurately weighted:

Not sure this would really help the situation! If Sonny murdering A.J. or shooting his pregnant wife in the head didn't get him thrown off the show, there is zero chance that 'killing'* the mediocre country-western recast of Antonio Sabato Jr. who didn't last nine months on-camera is going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back. (* - besides, I highly doubt he will end up being the one who really murdered Wagger anyway. They have no room to maneuver if Sonny killed a fed in cold blood.)- The Politics Thread

I thought my old town couldn't get a worse dude than de Blasio. I was wrong!- What is the standard procedure for deleting files from "My Attachments"?
Yeah, I'd be happy to purge whatever attachments I have put up but it doesn't seem to be giving me that option.
