Todd Manning faked having DiD on OLTL in an elaborate storyline, if that counts.

The Talk: Discussion Thread
Right now, I'm reading the BTS book about The View entitled Ladies Who Punch. Someone really needs to write a similar book about The Talk. The last year alone provided so much drama, but it's always been there - mostly due to Sharon Osbourne.

Edge of Night (EON) (No spoilers please)
There doesn't appear to be an obit up yet, but I did read his wife's post on FB. I don't know if any of his EDGE work is available, but Retro TV aired his entire 1970-74 run on TD as the evil Dr. John Morrison. May he RIP. 🙏

Tori never bothered me as much as she bothered other fans, but I still didn't like her that much. Not because of Kristen Meadows' performances, but because the writing for the character was so thankless that no actress could have salvaged Tori. But, as always, to each his/her own!

Too bad she wasn't wearing the "tax the rich" dress while she said that. 😂

Yes, now I remember. How could I forget, with that ancient and tired trope?

The Talk: Discussion Thread
True. I wasn't watching when Holly and Leah were on, but then they had 5-6 years of the same panel. When Aisha Tyler exited in 2017, there was at least one vacancy on the panel for every year until now. I am honestly stunned that it's still on the air.

True. It definitely changed for the worse when Sara Gilbert left in 2019, but I don't think it ever fully recovered from the toxicity when Julie Chen was forced to resign due to her husband's machinations in 2018.

When did they find out about the true paternities of Chip and Samantha? That I don't remember. I always thought it odd that both Chip and Adriana were blond and fair-skinned, with Cruz as their father. If SB was on the air now, no way would there not be a backlash.

ALL: You couldn’t imagine THEM playing THAT story
Karen Witter has to be one of the best recasts in soap history. It's hard to imagine this was her first TV role, because she was just so confident and poised right out of the gate.

Edge of Night (EON) (No spoilers please)
EDGE in primetime could have been interesting, but it might have been redundant with Perry Mason still on the air then - and on the same network, CBS.

I am so sorry, @Taoboi. Like I keep saying, this is truly a pandemic of selfishness. 😡😡😡😡😡

Neither did I or any other SB fan. Kristen Meadows really was in a no-win situation.

What's funny is that she ended up being the spoiler in her own love story! Was anyone expecting Mason/Julia to take off like that? After what she did to Cruz, I never understood why he, Eden and all the rest were always so nice to her. I never bought it.

What I find amusing is the headline that Morales was hired to save the show. That ship sailed months ago!!!
