  1. Indeed. Does anyone know what Lisa Brown is up to these days?
  2. From what I read (Wikipedia, so take that for whatever it's worth), Doris Quinlan was EP of TD from 1979-81. Kathy Glass played MJ Match from 1978-81.
  3. Boy, Jerry Lacy sure couldn't shake the Bogey image, could he? LOL Seriously, I've heard a lot of great things about Mr. Lacy from one of his wife's Newhart co-stars, John Voldstad (the blond Darryl). He described him as a devoted husband and father who hung out a lot on the golf course with some of the Newhart male co-stars: Bob Newhart, Peter Scolari and Tom Poston. Jerry Lacy even wrote the second to last Newhart episode, which featured another former soap star, Randall Edwards (Delia #2, RH) as a friend of Stephanie's who is even snobbier than she is. LOL I look forward to reading the rest of the article. Thanks for sharing it!!
  4. Thank you so much! I just wish there was footage of his DAYS days out there.
  5. Me, too. These days she is focused on her music career. You can find her songs on iTunes and the like.
  6. Thank you so much!! I would sure love to see that QE2 story in its entirety, as well as the beginning of Liza and Travis. That would be awesome.
  7. Thank you for posting these. I'm a fan of Kristen Vigard, so I enjoy seeing these clips.
  8. Interesting. How long did SOD do the "Star Desk" column?
  9. I'll have to check them out, thanks!
  10. I think it's a shame ATWT never brought Lisa Loring back when Billy turned up in Oakdale in the early 00s. Does anyone know if she was even asked?
  11. He was Nikki's husband between Greg and Victor, right?
  12. Yes - there are fewer roles in the history of primetime TV more sympathetic than Dr. Kroger!!! LOL You can also always tell the article is from the 70s if it has anything to do with women's rights, etc. Nancy Lee Grahn has carried that mantle from the mid-80s on.
  13. I thought I heard she was fired, but I could be wrong.
  14. I'd never seen a Peter Reckell ATWT episode, either. Very cool.
  15. Was the actress who played Bambi any good?
  16. Thanks for posting all these gems. I've always been fascinated by behind-the-scenes stories, even more so than storyline articles, but the soap press was SOOOOOOOOO much better then.
  17. Thanks for posting this article!! I especially loved reading what the late, great Stanley Kamel had to say - his DAYS days were before my time, but I absolutely loved him as Dr. Kroger on Monk - he was perfect in that role.
  18. I think Gerry Waggett's Soap Opera Book of Lists mentions that the police were called when the EB/PB brawl ensued and that they were considering suing each other, but decided to drop the matter.
  19. Jackie Zeman, Billy Warlock, Shell Danielson, Carly Schroeder, Peter Hansen, Susan Brown...even actors who worked with Kin on other soaps like Catherine Hickland (on Texas) and Martha Byrne (on ATWT) still rave about him. He just seems like such a down-to-earth, funny guy that you would like to go out and have a beer with. Not Hollywood at all.
  20. Kin's always been one of the most beloved GH actors of all, by colleagues, fans and the soap press alike. I've never heard a bad word said about him.
  21. Oh...my goodness. I remember that slogan well - "fill it to the rim with brim". As for the awful hair and makeup - it was the 80s!!!! That's the only way to make sense of it. LOL
  22. I LOVE the JKG-written articles from back in the day. If you find more, keep them coming!!
