  1. Was he the real Sky Whitney here or was he Jefferson Brown?
  2. Right now we are in February 1968. Lydia Bruce became the third and final Maggie in August 1968 and stayed until the show's finale in December 1982. Wait till you see Liz in the next two episodes. Good grief!!!
  3. At least Tommy Jr. came down from the attic eventually, unlike poor Bobby Martin. LOL
  4. I never knew Alex had a sister, either. I guess one really does learn something new every day!!!
  5. I could find next to nothing about Ann Whiteside (Ruth) on the web. It is interesting, however, to see James Noble portraying a darker character when I've only seen him in comedy, mostly as Gov. Gatling on Benson.
  6. No, I never heard that. What year was that?
  7. Not only that - he keeps alcohol IN THE HOUSE and tells her HE needs a drink??? It's a miracle she hasn't had a drink in all that time. When he went to the cabinet where the booze was and saw it partly open, he looked like he had daggers shooting out of his eyes until he realized that Ruth hadn't opened the bottle. Then he proceeds to enjoy his drink right in front of her face, practically. Speaking of clueless people, why didn't those moron police or at least Matt (I think Bill had left by that point) order Mr. Bunker out of the hotel room where Liz was so upset? Why was he let in there in the first place? IDIOTS!!
  8. That's good to hear. It sounds that she is happy and healthy. Thanks for posting the link to their site.
  9. Good news - starting with the first episode today, Althea is back!!!!
  10. Thank you! I have seen this ad before. I believe it was in the same magazine as the article "Liza and Her Loves", posted a few pages back in this thread.
  11. Thanks especially for the article about A. He and Leslie are still happily married today. Their youngest daughter, Ren, has a couple of songs on iTunes - she has a gorgeous voice, too!!
  12. It's too bad another soap didn't snap up Toby Poser and give her a meaty role. Is she still acting?
  13. Thanks. I don't remember Danielle Du Clos or her character of Lisa. I'm guessing she wasn't on OLTL long.
  14. The last couple of episodes have really been a window to the past, haven't they? No 50", HD flat screen TV for these folks! Fuzzy picture and rabbit ears! Then, you have the rotary phones. LOL I wonder if they are going to catch the creepy guy responsible for Liz climbing onto the ledge in the first place - I wouldn't mind leaving him alone in a room with Dr. Nick "Raging Bull" Bellini!!!!
  15. I loved Carolee and John's deep, heartfelt concern for their friend. Liz is lucky to have them for support. Now I can't wait until Althea and Nick hear all about this!!
  16. Boy, that Robert story sure had everyone in a tizzy, didn't it? I'm surprised Eden didn't go all the way with him - in a good way. She didn't cheat on Cruz, at least physically. But it sure was a big emotional entanglement that took up a good portion of story for 1989 and 1990.
  17. OK, I will spill one detail - a pre-RH Bernie Barrow (credited as Bernard E. Barrow) appears in the second episode as a news reporter. Anyone familiar with him will recognize the voice immediately - he's in a trench coat and wearing glasses - and no hairpiece.
  18. Thanks!! It could be both, but I'm guessing probably the mellowing of years. The two ladies were barely out of their teens at the outset of AMC, and with age comes maturity (most of the time, anyway).
  19. The most recent episodes posted today (2/1 and 2/2/1968) are a double whammy!! I won't spoil anything, but they are truly must-see!!
  20. Congrats to Sharon Gabet - "Raven" just became the grandmother of twin girls!! The mother is her oldest child, Jasmine - whom Sharon was pregnant with in 1984 just as EON was winding down.
  21. I wonder what Karen Gorney thinks of Susan Lucci now!!!
  22. I, too, get a kick out of Gloria Monty's facial expression. She probably already knew the stunt casting was a bad idea!!
  23. Thanks for posting these interviews!! Very cool.
  24. Yes, Liz was in both episodes. Yes, her neighbor/stalker is seriously creepy. He has that Ted Bundy/John Lennon assassin (who I refuse to mention by name) look to him. I like Martha already - and even Nick didn't chew her out that much. Sadly, Sally Gracie and Gerald Gordon passed away the same week - she on August 13, 2001, and he went four days later on the 17th. Thank you, Maggie, for verbalizing what we all want to hear - "I want Karen out of my house - NOW!!!" Too bad Matt was out of his office when she said that. Honestly, if Karen came parading up to Matt in a negligee and was purring about how much she admires him, he still wouldn't have a clue!! I also can't wait for Althea to be back, which sounds like it will be soon. The sooner Dr. Davis and Liz Wilson are back at Hope Memorial, the better - and with the embittered reporter Nathan Bunker lurking around, the fireworks should be fun to watch.
