  1. Did the character get an actual exit or did she just fade off into oblivion?
  2. Was Jeff Ryder still writing the show then or did he leave when Pam Long did (the first time she left, I mean)?
  3. Today's episodes (SPOILERS): I loved the little scene in the first episode of Carolee and Liz in the elevator, chatting about doing each other's hair, making brownies and going to a really bad movie - and how much they enjoy being roommates. It's fun seeing Liz in those carefree moments, and shows that Pamela Toll can play light scenes as well as the heavy drama. Her panic attack in the staff cafeteria with Nick being at the next table and John encouraging her to stay, concentrate on her food and look neither to the right or left was a great scene. Of course, she didn't listen, but his and Carolee's concern for her was very apparent. She's lucky to have friends like them. I also felt John's agony being stuck in the clinic all day with Karen. Poor thing, I would have felt the same way. I could tell he was counting the minutes when he learned Maggie would be back the next day. LOL On to the second episode. Maggie's back and not a moment too soon!! For now, she is still being played by Bethel Leslie. We get our first glimpse of little Greta, an adorable little girl with long hair. Matt is still oblivious about Dr. Karen Werner's feelings for him, but his lovely wife sure isn't!! I love the way Maggie's eyes were like daggers when she looked at Karen throughout the episode. It was funny when John was so relieved to see Maggie enter the clinic. Now that both of them know the truth about Althea, it will be interesting to see how the news will travel - especially to Nick. I can't be alone in thinking the scenes with Polly just drag on. They could be cut in half and still get the point across. I wonder how much longer she'll be on. BLOOPER ALERT: Watch closely in the second episode when John enters Matt's office. You will see one of the cameras in the shot for about two seconds.
  4. Yeah, I too loved Althea getting riled because Nick wouldn't face any consequences because he was a man!!
  5. I know that Antenna TV showed reruns of Hazel and Bachelor Father (I don't know if they still do). I do know for a fact that the INSP Channel shows The Big Valley reruns.
  6. Was she the only actress to play Penny?
  7. As iconic as John Forsythe was as Blake Carrington, he will always be first and foremost Charlie Townsend to me!!!!
  8. That's what I thought, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks. I'm still trying to find out when Maggie returns.
  9. I still think Dynasty was the campiest of his shows and The Love Boat was the cheesiest - and I mean that as a compliment!
  10. Yeah, I tried finding 2004 OLTL end credits with no luck.
  11. Was Dan Allison a doctor?
  12. No one could do high camp better than Aaron Spelling!!!!
  13. No wonder he gravitates so much to his patient, Polly - she's the only one who is always nice to him!!!
  14. Wasn't one of the Alice replacements married to one of the actors on M*A*S*H?
  15. Thank you!
  16. Yeah, that scene was pretty funny. Nice try, Dr. Love. LOL Boy, Dr. Bellini keeps on making friends, doesn't he? Talk about your bite being worse than your bark. I wanted Carolee to smack him over the head with the clipboard when he blamed her for waking him early when Dr. Powers left unexpectedly on the emergency - which she had nothing to do with. Speaking of Carolee, from personal experience I felt bad for her when she invited Steve into her and Liz's apartment after their date. When he began flirting with the younger and newly single Liz and nearly forgot Carolee - the look on her face said it all. Starting with the January 5, 1968 episode, Bethel Leslie's name is no longer in the credits. When Maggie comes back, will it be Lydia Bruce or a temp until Lydia Bruce takes over permanently?
  17. I looked on several sites, but I could not find the name of the actor who played him.
  18. Cool! How long after this did she join KL?
  19. Wow, I remember when Maura West had that really short hair. Of course, this was years before Shawn Christian's (ATWT's first Mike Kasnoff) character of Daniel went on to become the creature that ate DAYS.
  20. I would love to see the whole episode if it still exists. I'm still amazed that they were able to do so much with not so much money.
  21. According to the AW 35th anniversary book - yes, it was.
  22. I know what you mean - I'm especially surprised that they got away with a line like that on a 60s soap. No way would it get past now.
  23. Looking at those collages really drives home again what an odd couple Nick and Liz really were. I wish someone would have said to her after the breakup that she's better off without him. I'm surprised Dr. John Rice DIDN'T say that. LOL
