As The World Turns Discussion Thread
You probably already know this, but Lucy Deakins left show business behind several years back and became a lawyer. Here are a couple of recent pictures of her: https://www.dunsinglaw.com/about-the-team What did you think of her Lily's dynamic with Liz Hubbard as Lucinda?

Best/Worst Soap Wedding Dresses, Hats, Headpieces and Veils
Hey, I actually liked the outfits worn at Eden and Cruz's Antebellum-style wedding on SB. Maybe the on-location, outdoor setting worked better than an indoor one. I do agree that both of Robin Wright's wedding gowns as Kelly were hideous. For a favorite, I always loved DAYS' Carrie Brady's dress to her first marriage to Austin in 1997 (she wore the same dress to their interrupted nuptials in 1995). I find it timeless and ethereal.

They all look great. Has it really been 20 years???- ALL: They Almost Became
Thank you!! AMC may have been the higher-rated soap in 1976, but TD ended up being the right move for him.- Passions Discussion Thread
That's a major understatement. Then again, the grossest stuff of year nine was on DirecTV. I don't think some of it would have gotten past standards and practices...had NBC still had any at the time.- ALL: They Almost Became
I actually wrote to Frank Telfer not long ago. He gave me a tale that would fit here. In 1976, he tested for two NYC soaps and was offered roles on both of them - the recast of Dr. Jeff Martin on AMC and the newly created part of Lew (later Luke) Dancy on The Doctors. He chose TD and Robert Perault was cast on AMC. As it turns out, Jeff was written out again in 1977 while Luke (and Frank) lasted until TD's very last episode in 1982. As for Frank now, he headed West after a brief gig on ATWT and has been there ever since. He was eventually cast as one of Jay Leno's regular players in goofy skits on The Tonight Show. He would usually play politicians like John McCain, Howard Dean and Joe Biden.- Unsung
Why doesn't TV1 even show reruns anymore? Can they not afford to license the music?- What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?

To this day, I have never seen that movie. I probably should. Hanging Up still remains one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Too bad that trash ultimately became Walter Matthau's last movie.- "The Conners" Discussion Thread
