  1. I think it really started to hit its stride in the summer of 1985 and stayed that way until about 1990.
  2. No surprise here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/tv/ct-ent-law-order-svu-renewed-21-season-20190329-story,amp.html But they will be searching for a new ADA: https://www.google.com/amp/s/variety.com/2019/tv/news/philip-winchester-leaving-law-order-svu-1203176336/amp/
  3. I don't think we'll ever know the whole story on that one. Robin Wright never had nearly as popular a pairing on SB after him. To those of you who watched the show originally, were Kelly and Jeffrey a big draw? I know Ross Kettle was on the show for a couple of years and got an Emmy nomination, but I just never really saw any sparks with those two. Still, he was light years better than the Hartley brothers.
  4. Too bad Henry Slesar never got to write this story.
  5. Speaking of which, do we know when Unsung Hollywood starts up again?
  6. Good points. The first sign was probably when ABC took ownership of the show in 1980.
  7. Shame on me. That is indeed a terrific site.
  8. Nice to know that this court appearance didn't turn into a circus.
  9. William H. Macy was not even there to support his wife. Hmmmm...
  10. https://www.google.com/amp/s/people.com/tv/lori-loughlin-signs-autographs-chats-fans-college-admissions-scandal-court-hearing/amp/ And if that wasn't stupid enough... https://www.google.com/amp/s/people.com/tv/lori-loughlin-fans-wear-aunt-becky-masks-outside-courthouse/amp/ I did have to laugh at this... https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/onlookers-cheer-yell-pay-my-tuition-as-lori-loughlin-arrives-to-court/ar-BBVAzxp?li=AA524b
  11. Did any of you see the footage? Lori was actually signing autographs for fans outside the courthouse!!
  12. ABC never would have done that had Loving been created by anyone else but Nixon/Marland.
  13. It would be the best soap opera episode never made.
  14. They both appear in court tomorrow: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-lori-loughlin-fecility-huffman-college-admissions-scandal-20190402-story.html%3foutputType=amp
  15. Hard to believe at this time 10 years ago, eight soaps were still on the air.
  16. I never would have recognized Bonnie Bedelia from that photo.
  17. I'm really curious as to how they will deal with the absence of Aunt Becky.
  18. I agree with those and would add Amen and Sister, Sister to the list.
  19. Glenn Jones is next, and then Kenny Lattimore.
  20. One of the biggest problems is that most of the time, the kid mumbles/whispers his lines so that you can barely hear him. Would it be too much for MJ to drop him off with Rose so Tom can search the want ads uninterrupted for a couple of hours? I think they started this plot with good intentions, but the execution fell flat.
  21. Who was the first soap actor to make the transition to writing soap operas? Who else acted and wrote on their soaps at the same time? The only ones I can think of are Lois Kibbee and Meg Bennett.
  22. Eddie's AWHP and Nicolas' SB site (published in both English and his native French) are the two best and comprehensive soap sites I've ever seen. Incredible work put in by both.
  23. The two Sara Dancys - Antoinette Panneck and Dorothy Fielding:
