  1. Or heck, what about the son Liberty and JT gave up for adoption? Surely that kid is now high school age? A little convoluted of an explanation would be needed, but I would be here for it. I think it could be an interesting story arc to have an adopted kid wanting to learn about his biological parentage and the circumstances of why he was put up for adoption, and they can hit us with the built up bang of who his biological parents really are. I've been revisiting the seasons focusing on the original set again for the first time in years (I really can't deal with too much beyond like season 7, I never found much of successive sets that compelling). I was already on the verge of graduating high school and going to college when TNG first premiered, so I always viewed the show with slightly "mature" eyes. Anyway, I think Sean is still my favourite character. I just think he's possibly the only one of the original group that seemed to have a real character arc and grow as time went on. Even though I liked both of his main romantic relationships (Emma and Ellie) for different reasons, I do think he and Emma are soulmates and I'm still very bitter they had Emma and Spinner randomly get married and still kept that narrative that they were still married when Emma appeared on New Class. I kind of hope this reboot fixes that and it's said she and Sean later found one another, but it probably will not happen. 😁 I think Sean was the only one who had his own theme music tool (though this was also often used for Sean and Emma's scenes as well). Like the below, which still touches my heart as they reference their first pic together from season 1.
  2. It was definitely time for these people to go. Similar to Kenan, I got real sick of McKinnon being force-fed into almost any and every sketch whenever I watched. I don't care how talented someone is, they don't deserve that much focus.
  3. Interesting read: Commentary: How Ellen DeGeneres won, and then lost, a generation of viewers
  4. Given the wonderful monologues he often had on GL, he would have made a terrific speech teacher as well. 2:03 in really illustrates what an emotional cornerstone Ross and Jerry’s portrayal had become to GL by this point. Jerry never made scenes like this come off as too saccharine or insincere, he was just so believable.
  5. Patrick Mulcahey has referenced the scene 2 mins into this clip in the past as being amongst the favorites he’s written and specifically noted Jerry’s performance and delivery as the reason why.
  6. She wanted Stone’s role in Casino if I remember correctly. Though Stone’s career ultimately ended up being a series of box office flops. Funny thing is the two of them have done a lot of AIDS benefits/charity events together in recent years. Madonna and Whitney ended up being very cordial to one another - early in her career Whitney said something to the effect that she would kill her daughter if she was like Madonna (years before Bobbi-Kristina was born mind you), but the two seemed to develop a mutual respect for one another by the mid-90’s. I know Madonna sent Whitney flowers when she had one of her miscarriages, and Whitney famously defended Madonna when some reporter tried to cause beef (clip below). Also, one of the last clips of Whitney alive was of her cheering on Madonna’s 2012 Super Bowl performance (clip below as well).
  7. This Willow actress is so boring and flat - I’m tempted to go into a deep sleep whenever she’s on.
  8. Kylie Minogue And Jason Donovan Returning To Neighbours For Finale
  9. Both MSW and TGG continue to be in high demand in international syndication as well. Some shows can't translate well to foreign audiences, but two shows centered around elderly women somehow managed to.
  10. Truly a cursed ceremony this year…
  11. The concept of ‘Must See TV’ wouldn’t exist without TCS, hence why NBC always held Cosby in such high esteem and reverence until his devious actions came to light in the mainstream over the last decade. Remember - he was working on another project for NBC that was shelved once his deeds came to light…
  12. All the people being mentioned here are like 400 years old.
  13. NYC in general seems to be headed back to the violent and dark times of the 70's/80's.
  14. So they weren't even trying to hide biting off Thelma & Louise?
  15. John and Grandma Belle look like contemporaries…
  16. Is that the new Chick-fil-A uniform?
  17. I know from personal experience that grief can make us do some crazy things, lol. These must be very tense and highly emotional times for the Huber family - her father's death and perhaps lack of outreach from her mother during this time can be enough of a perfect storm for an irrational decision or two. God knows I've been there in similar circumstances.
  18. This topic is already derailed, so why the hell not? Anyway, I know Liza attended and was part of the wedding for her brother (Andres) in 2017, Susan and Helmut were obviously there as well. So, this estrangement likely occurred over the past 5 years or so. And Liza could have easily wanted to prevent this type of scene from playing out, hence not attending (whether she was “invited” or not)
  19. Would kill to see very early Kim where it was clear Irna was using the character as a vehicle for her own life.
