Wow, you know this is to be expected, but it’s always a shock when someone who always appeared as zesty and alert as KH passes. I can’t imagine her not being part of my ATWT viewing experience, she was one of a kind. RIP.

I love that June saw the writing on the wall in terms of what the show had become and bowed the hell out. Looking back, that should have been a sign to the BBC that something was very wrong with the show, but of course, they refuse to believe otherwise.

Oates will probably be overseeing Dot's funeral on the show though (unless they wait years to address it), which has me worried. 🤐

Judging by the decor, Susan has great taste that's very timeless. None of the tacky eccentricities you might find at the mansions of other entertainment divas from what I can see.

As I wrote in the EE thread: I know she had long moved on from the show, but it's almost impossible to separate her from my viewing experience and history with the show. She was a very complicated woman IRL and not easy to deal with for some (both on-screen and behind the scenes), but she was always committed to making Dot a standout, and we should be lucky we had such a long time with her. RIP

Or that one-trick hack Tiffany Haddish who has played it off as simply a man defending his wife's honor - as if Jada is some poor damsel in distress. Clearly those folks are biased by their personal relationships with the Smith's and don't want to be blacklisted from that circle. I am glad that comedians Wanda and Jim Carrey (see below) give no f.ucks and are just calling it what it is, and for speaking out about what a dangerous precedent this sets for the well-being of all comedians. Not just celebrities physically attacking them, but their nutso fans as well (many of whom are insane enough to be driven as far as murder). The likes of Richard Pryor, Joan Rivers, and George Carlin would be appalled that we're at this point.

Jada is not a damsel in distress that needed her husband to assault another man on her behalf. She's spouted a hell of a lot more outrageous crap on Red Table Talk than Chris Rock has in his entire routine.

Remember when Will was all about being a positive role model and not cussing in his rap? LOL Frankly, that always seemed like a big veneer to me. I think as the years progressed we've seen how erratic and bizarre he and Jada really are.

Honestly, if anything, I think this adds more fuel to Rock's routine and he'll be referencing it and Jada/Will for years more to come. If anything, they've made him look sympathetic to a great deal of people.

On a side note, I wonder how the Nancy Grace of YouTube movie critics (Grace Randolph) feels about Jessica Chastain’s win given her public campaign against Chastain for years that’s gone viral at certain times.

Makes you wonder how Jada using their marriage as fodder for her talk show and publicly exposing their sex lives must really make him feel. That alone is enough to make most men feel like their masculinity is being ripped away.

No wonder is was a bargain basement mess! Perhaps the sh!t Jada’s been saying publicly about their marriage is also eating away at him (like f.ucking other men for starters) and he was taking it out of Rock, but still reeks of insecurity. It was assault at the end of the day and something I refuse to reduce to a laughing moment. If any one of us did that at an office event or party, not only would we be fired, but security would remove us from the building completely. Smith’s behavior should not be overlooked because he’s a star.

Will Smith is a grown ass man approaching his mid-50's, has been in the industry for over 30 years, and has attended his fair share of public events and award shows to know what goes down with comedians. No one should be making excuses for him or mansplaining his actions. At the end of the day, he got upset over a joke and assaulted someone on live TV during his industry's biggest night.

I'm really confused and concerned why ABC and the producers thought Liza Minelli in her current health state should be presenting at the Oscars in front of millions.
