For sure the year before PM. A year and a half? When Alexis did her career pivot into being a publisher. But it's been so long since I thought about that. The Ned/her redux. And just how Alexis was branching out into other storylines rather than being in a bubble/backburner.

I totally forgot about Amber and Allison. But I admit I would get misty-eyed if I heard Springfield or Bay City.

He really did. But tbf it started before PM came back. It was just a happy accident that he was able to run with what was already there. Something I was grateful for for sure. I was also sad about LD though. But Alexis did have a few romantic options under PM even if some were problematic.

Awww a Lizzie mention. I really enjoyed the renaissance that Alexis and NLG had a few years back. And it's just sad to see her on the sidelines really...waiting for her to (hopefully) raise again.

Oh, I didn't think that you thought she was tanking scenes. I found TA too professional to do that tbh. I also don't think the material inspires her, either. Which is why it's noticable in the episodes I've been binging of a different energy. She might not like being used as a plot device, but TA is running with it and I do like her acting if I don't like the reason...if that makes sense. THIS. ESPECIALLY the 100 recurring players part.

Now I'm going to be observing her scripts now because I don't have a big characteristic thought about her scripts except as was mentioned I believe that she loves to do family/family member scenes which I'm not against her doing. I haven't watched that episode yet, but I think that's the one I am on. And just from on here, I like that picture better.

But seriously, I agree with you. It never even occurred to me that TA might be getting bored until they started to use her like how they are now because she has come alive. Well as long as Trina doesn't turn into Sami, Eric, Thomas, and/or Steffy when it comes to her parents, I'm good. And I'm sure she will at least get over it. I sadly can see that. But yeah, she hasn't shown fire in a good minute. I love how TA is running with it. Body language. Some of her inflection. The vibe. Trina has a dynamic vibe to her that she hasn't had in a while. Dare I say it...at all? Like I said before, I'm aware it is plot device-y, but I like it on Trina.

I don't think you are on an island. Especially about Portia just glancing at the talk along the thread. I haven't liked Curtis in a minute either outside of his fighting with Drew which allowed DT to play something different and lit him up a little bit. I would even say this baby mess has lit him up a liiiittle bit there, but it seems like DT has gone back to low energy again. IKR re: Nina. And don't get me started on how they are writing Dante in terms of Gio which rings false. Though I'm happy Lulu is growing on you. As for Laura...that slanted writing strikes again. See? I have felt their second year as the HWs is coming along a lot better than their first year. Though the writing tics I don't like are still very much there and annoying present at the moment. But I understand why it can still be background music. That's me if I see Sonny with that ADA or Michael with the hussy. I think BTG will pick up again so I'm not worried. It's just been I guess too slow for me and I miss the complexity that was coming off the characters in waves. Still love it.

I do feel she's been a bit muted...so her being a hellion and lighting Jordan up works for me.

Not us manifesting you a man. ;) Not at all. I got in my feels watching the last touches throughout the episode. And we won't even talk about the phone call scene and the memories that brought up. I think my only worry was it built to Dad finding out and everything after it felt like a coda and my feeling was mixed. I liked they finally got to know each other know each other at the cottage. It made think of other times in my own past. And I wondered...why does it not seem like people can do something like that now? Probably a BIG sign I love the episode because it has been on my mind (and I'm about to go for a walk so more time to process) quite a bit and I finished a while ago.
