Or will be used for misdirection when Carly and Jack think they have found Jason? I meant to mention that I like the twist of Sidwell giving Willow (welcome back!) what she needed to paralyze Drew, but I guess I missed that Sidwell wants Drew dead and Willow a widower. Lol. So the redemption of Drew has started...

4-3 Well finish off last week ( :P at CBS for their viewing shenanigans). And I agree that was a good week. And I was happy even with the Easter episode that the writers stuck the landing. By stuck the landing, I mean that they stuck the landing by focusing on one story that people are loving (in this case the Hayley storyline) and just having other stories surrounding it. Thankfully, they were all interesting. So it finally happened. I've been saying for months that Hayley and the current turns in her storyline have been giving me 90s DAYS OF OUR LIVES where the schemer gets a sidekick who eventually blackmails them. And Lynette finally did that with Hayley. lol. However is she going to get herself out of this one? hehe. Meanwhile, Joey gave the heads-up to Randy. Not to mention Kat AND Naomi in the wings. I do hope with so many people slowly closing in on Hayley that the comeuppance is worth the wait like 90s DAYS was with Kristen Dimera. Just...no fake teeth falling into a martini glass...k. hehe. If there is one thing that Jacob and Naomi are going to do...it's going to be make love. lol. I do wonder given they do it every time they meet if Naomi will turn up preggers. And not the Impaler (since I take it it's the CoS) zeroing in on Ashley. Well...anything for some movement in that dreadful storyline. Now this latest turn in the Carlton/Nicole/Kial storyline...now you all know Nicole is my favorite character, but NO. Now up to this point, I didn't mind because Nicole was getting a POV and a story, but I didn't like how she was treating either one of them. And I hollered at her scenes with Carlton that echoed the very things that you all were discussing here about her and her personality shifting. It was like Carlton was speaking for the audience and that I loved. It means that the writers are paying attention. And she reacted by sleeping with Kial...who doesn't mind being used, but still...smh. And then I was Team Carlton when he went to talk to Ted, too. I still felt the Easter episode continued my belief that Carlton is going to lose it and not Derek after all. Not me talking about Dani being window dressing only for her to turn up in scenes with Bill. It was an okay scene. So was her scene with Andre as they were exploring Kial's intentions. Clever bit of dialogue with Anastacia and Nicole. Since the cotillion has been vanished off screen. I loved Anita and Vernon (mmm dark Vernon) dealing with her, too. And running into Jennifer Holiday was pretty cute. But that whole episode was cute. Deanna is love.

Just some thoughts since I see work unexpectedly wanted to throw out a surprise. I know we talked here often how if the plot doesn't involve Michael, Willow, and/or Drew, that the show really doesn't have much going on. Or worse, for me, that those writers are focusing on those 2026 couples they set up that I don't like. And for the most part...right! So it's funny that as I'm binging, it's almost like the writers are here reading this board and just thought 'challenged accepted.' I can't even think of the last time I saw Willow or Drew. The show shifted onto Jason's Good-bye Tour and it's just kept going to a nice climax. I've definitely have been enjoying Jason since he's been back for the most part. And they finally matured up his pairing with Britt again. So watching the story surrounding Jason's leaving the canvas again has been pretty awesome. Marco's death (which shouldn't have happened). Jason vs Random WSB Guy...and me cheering him on...literally yelling at the TV 'Beat his a$$, Jason!' cuz I loathe that man. lol. And the shock of Rocco shooting him and the aftereffects has been fascinating to watch with me. Rocco's shooting him is such an umbrella story and I can't wait to see how it spreads across the canvas. Sidenote...disappointed that Marco died. And those writers ain't slick in Brad popping up in scenes right before. Though that was good that Lucas was able to tell Brad about how they were helping Britt. I would rather had seen a triangle if Brad had to be around. I don't think we had a full slightly realistic gay triangle that lasted for a minute since the days of Fish/Kyle/ThatOneGuy on OLTL. Okay, maybe Paul/Sonny/AmensiacWill on DAYS but that kinda makes my point. IMHO, I was surprised at how good VH was in those death scenes. He really had a pulse on when to be slightly dramatic but not go over the top. Very reserved which made it really realistic so I loved it and felt for him. Glad he has Liz and Ava there with him. And the suspense of him in one operating room while Marco was dying in the other was superb. I however did not like CR's Sidwell overacting at all. For me picking on the beats and stalling in the 'Nathan' storyline, I admit that I really did love Maxie's parts in it. Yes, they rushed it. Yes, they rushed her back to Spin so swiftly. But I was not expecting her to feel a way about Lulu...or even Lulu to be so stubborn. I thought it was and is OOC for Lulu to be after her friend's husband...but I thought it was in character that Lulu would be stubborn about it so TeamMaxie immediately. I even liked they remember briefly the Deception plot thread. I do love that with Dante as Police Commish that we finally get to see his recurring internal conflict (policeman vs Sonny's son) on full display on the canvas. That has had fits and starts for decades. So I'm enjoying it for all that it's worth. Yes, I did swoon at Jason and Britt's good-bye scenes. I also love how much Alexis has Danny and Jason's back. Martin MUTE. Carly/Val (outside of plot related to Jason) MUTE. Danny/Charlotte (outside of plot related to Jason) Also MUTE. I'm overdue some Liz/Ric scenes, but thankfully I know those are coming. I really have enjoyed the turnaround in story though I still miss Michael/Willow/Drew. But great to see the writers showing up and showing out.

I finally got time to sit down and start watching last week's episodes. And...other than that awkward off-screen stuff dialogue in Monday's episode that made me twitch...I would say so far, so good. I see why what comments I saw said it was a good week. So THANK YOU, KRISTEN DIMERA!!! So far into the week...there was a main story and that main story was Hayley!!! I love that they are finally paying off that Tomas knows too much. And they are playing that beat. I have to give the shoutout to referencing past events like the lawsuit that never was and Hayley using Tomas to make Bill jealous. I liked that after abruptly dismissing the storyline that it's back and WITH some momentum behind it. Hayley and Lynette trying to get Tomas in trouble, like Bill trying to figure out who 'attack' Hayley, is threatening to expose them. Why? Because Veronica Mars...I mean...Kat is on that case!!! That was another inspired story stroke in a story that does have potential in it still in spite of the fumbles (cuz we all know how I feel about St. Barts). Kat has always been like a dog without a bone. I love Lynette vs Kat. I love, love, LOVE the Kat/Bill scene where it seems she planted a little seed in Bill's formerly intelligent mind. I loved Hayley vs Tomas (he even came to life for a second). And 'Wifey always comes out on top' is living rent free in my head. I hope @Maxim enjoyed that scene as much as I did. Lynette might have already eclipsed Hayley as the villainess I love to hate, but Hayley still has good moments as only a schemer can. If the cotillion storyline is far off, this is the other B storyline that has legs to it. Because the plasma ring storyline ain't it. Speaking of that...meh. Really over it. In the C plot department, it goes without saying that I'm sooooooooooo glad that Deanna is back. And she was already nailing Vanessa to the wall over Joey. I can't believe that Vanessa lied about the development of her relationship with Joey when she was talking about honesty this and truth that like she's Kyle Richards on RHoBH when she didn't even tell Deanna and Donnell the truth. She's definitely picking up where Donnell left off. And I'm completely here for her rocking Vanessa/Joey's world and exposing the truth behind Doug's death...which is where I feel that storyline is going. And Vanessa/Joey have been C plot too long. Deanna...BRING IT. I think we all know where I stand on Carlton/Nicole/Kial. I'm happy that we got to see the dinner with her, Carlton, Vanessa, and Joey. I can't believe it went left so fast. At the same time, now I'm starting to think from Carlton's conversation with Shanice that when Nicole finally chooses Kial, he is going to lose his ever-loving mind cuz he came across a little cray cray with Shanice. Speaking of Shanice...let sigh. I've been enjoying her and Ted. But I have notice that they have started to write her as more of an insecure wallflower...two things that Shanice is not. And I don't like that at all. Please don't have Shanice lose her edge. Speaking of losing edge...I'm sorry. I am happy that Dani/Andre are happy. But they have started to become window dressing and losing a lot of the substance that I loved in them getting together in the first place. I can't even believe how their relationship has turned into a C plot itself. Bring back their angle in the Hayley storyline! Still liking the show, but good week though it has been so far. Love the writers picked a main story this week. AND having several stories around said story. That's when this show works best. (or with an A story). That said...it is feeling uneven.

Now that I'm fully in April and have some time to comment... DEAD at Taylor's 'Me Time!!!' I am not going to lie. I hollered so much during that exchange. I love that the Taylor/Deacon/Sheila storyline has firmly been the focus this past week. And they paid off the Friday cliffhanger really well for me. And now Sheila might be slowly putting the pieces together, too? I'm not going to lie. I definitely feel the suspense. So good job, Brad! I've said it before, I'll say it again...JMW gives good Bitca. And I love watching Steffy try to talk sense into Taylor and Deacon and looking fierce doing so. Yeah, there's nothing else going on, but there is such momentum to this one storyline that it doesn't matter.

Yeah, another thing I can thank PM for. Before I found James annoying, but during that period, I came to like him and have ever since. But they really haven't been using him so I would expect him to leave if Maxie is sent to HEA, but yep. I don't see it cuz of Frank. Now...don't you mention that girl. ;P

Yeeeah at this point, give Maxie that HEA. I definitely don't see Frank giving up on James so I can see him back with Mac and Felicia.
