BH Well since I haven't watched BH since Part 1 of their last reunion, I felt this was a moment. And I was annoyed as soon as I saw those hags. Especially Kyle and EricFake. That said...I thought it was solid. I was shocked that I was not seeing red as much as I thought I would. I was under the impression that the gang-up on Garcelle was most of the episode. I liked that Garcelle sensed something was up since Kyle didn't look at her. From the last time I watched, Garcelle/Kyle had become quite a team so uh oh indeed. I'm sure Garcelle picked up on the clues I did. Anytime Kyle (or Dorit/EricFake) spoke, they always included the other two in their conversation. I definitely noticed it. I knew for sure something was up when Kyle put on her 'woe is me' act...which has not changed in years apparently. And that was what it was. Acting. That EricFake tried to pounce on her, too (with Kyle taking little potshots) was GIRL, BYE to me. Even I heard about how HER storyline was remodeling her house. And that they were in a good place and EricFake STILL did that was telling. I think the only person who had a right to come at Garcelle was Dorit. And to be fair...Garcelle from what I heard WAS NOT the main storylines this season which makes anyone coming for her at all weird and obtuse. What about Kyle vs Dorit? What about Dorit vs anyone? What about everyone coming after Sutton? Or any of Boz's drama? Yet...everyone is coming for...GARCELLE? And for past stuff? It whispers set-up to me. But back on topic...hehe...that is Dorit's right. But it was also Garcelle's right to make a comment...a comment from when I watched cuz I watched that season...that EVERYBODY made. Love Production rolled back exactly what Garcelle said...which was correct. Garcelle also apologized in the moment...though it fell on Dorit's deaf ears. Worse of all for me...was Sutton's silence. I enjoyed that someone FINALLY had Sutton's back. I enjoyed that Sutton was finally seeing last year that Kyle is no one's friend. So...what happened? Cuz she was there mute as Garcelle vs Kyle unfolded around her, she could have revealed it and she did not pick her show/AND OFF-SCREEN BFF. Wooooow. Garcelle venting at the end. I am glad she did. But I kinda wish she did it to those girls' faces even if it would give Angry Black Woman. I know she can gather them if she wanted so I wish she would. ESPECIALLY Kyle. Since she has not stormed out...yet...I am curious what makes her do it so I will watch Part 2. I will probably see red (versus being just annoyed) then. I was already on READY during Part 1 cuz some of the online comments made me want to drag some folk...something I haven't done in a minute because I prefer to go high and it should not be that serious, but...*takes a breath*

I still wish that Molly had been allowed to slap the taste out of her mouth for the disrespect. It's time for Kristina to be sent off to Ferncliff.

Jacob? Manly? Well...YES. HEHE. I meant about Anita's police gala. We haven't had much build on that outside of the initial scene. Meanwhile, we get mentions of both Nicole/Ted anniversary party and Dani's fashion event. I just feel that we will get more from Anita soon. Events are the best places for soaps to reveal secrets and given the writing team on this show that is exactly what will happen. That said...I do hope that for Anita's gala, she does bring one of her band members back. But also that would be a great opportunity to bring in one of her sisters if she has one like you mentioned. Or what Jacob's mother saw Anita and his dad at the gala, didn't like the vibe, and started to unearth something from Anita's past...bringing out a new family member for Anita.

Omg you're right! Part of me hated that we got a fantasy segment. Part of me didn't mind it cuz Fantasy Tomas was much more interesting. I think that would have totally flow better. Fingers crossed. Perhaps as Andre's date.

Sad, but true. Still...I would love to see her do it. The potential is so there. Well to be fair we know they have a bedroom so... 😜

Thank you. Knowing they will be on is good enough for me. I thought what I've seen of last week so far that it was good, but of course not my favorite stories outside of AL showing how much of a vixen she can make Summer. Which I don't mind at all cuz AL is such a great actress.

Well that's good to hear since my week have gotten busier and it's taking forever to get caught up.

Yeah, it's background at the moment and I can feel myself seeing red. Like Dani on BTG, Kristina is just one step forward, two steps backwards with me.

I admit...I was wondering if that was where it was going, too. Alas. She will get out of that hospital set yet.

I thought today was a good episode. But in the grand scheme of RC breakdowns, I liked his second one more. Things that stood out as RCisms was the thankfully very brief mention of the cat story that people didn't even like from his first breakdown, Dani's little jump excitement as she ran up the stairs which made me think of moments from his other shows, and we know I love Nosy Nurse and she saved all of it due to the actress playing her so please don't stone me, but how she was in the episode echoed (slightly thank God) OldRecipe Brad on GH and what I know of Leo on DAYS. But again...the character has already been established as Nosy Nurse and the actress has the best ability of elevating everything she's in. In fact, if it was those aforementioned characters, it would have been sillier. Nosy Nurse can be that way, too, but the actress perfectly grounded it in reality. THAT is a skill. I think what I liked about this episode is the fact that everything was moving nicely. It does seem like this week is going to be about the lawsuit and its dynamics among the Duprees and Andre's drama though. I like the former, but I know there are going to be problems with the latter. I love that we are getting to see more of Naomi. I realized today that I guess I haven't gotten quite a feel on her outside of the other third generation Duprees. But seeing her in work mode, I really enjoy her and what it reveals about her character. She was giving a bit of Olivia Pope with some Christine Blair today, and I didn't mind it. I'm really looking forward to Father vs Daughter. They feel evenly matched. Meanwhile, the subplot with her man and the corrupt cop(?) continue. And them having individual stories is really allowing for them to be rootable as the first together couple we saw in the first episode. Chelesa vs Hayley was great, too. Chelesa got all the good licks in on her. And I honestly like seeing Hayley get out of the bubble she's been in with only Bill and Dani by interacting with others. First Naomi which was long overdue and now Chels. Go on. Will she be able to repair any rift between Bill and Chelesa/Naomi? Time will tell. And then Chelesa having to have a firm hand with Mommy Dearest. Watch that girl grow. Dani, Dani, Dani. So much one step forward, two steps back with her. I honestly felt like she really wanted to help Chelesa. And it seem like Chelesa got through to her why she can't. And then she was tempted by the drink. And then she got that call from Bill. And then I rolled my eyes cuz I knew she was going to take that the wrong way. And not helped by how easily her and Bill go into their old roles as husband/wife. And the fact that Bill can when he is newly married is soooo telling. And God, Timon and Karla have great chemistry. And don't think I didn't notice how they were sat at the beginning of the reminiscing. Cuz by the end, their legs were touching. And I gasped and shook my head when Dani kissed him. I'm sure I'll feel differently later, but I felt today was the first time I was annoyed with Ashley. I think for me, while the start of Andre/Ashley has been nicely paced. Now...it felt very paint-by-numbers. I did like that Derek verbalize his jealousy to Jacob. But, like I said earlier, the show flowed smoothly without them so having them back...at the moment...felt like a clunker storyline. Not even Nosy Nurse could save it. And she was the best part of their storyline. Ooooo cool!

And all of them are getting the proper build, too. Well except for Anita's. I fully expect that to change.

*gasps* That ending... Well, there's Ted and Nicole's FOINE doctor friend who was at Nicole's award event for sure. And I agree. Watching Dani today in work mode...and the other times she's been...she has that drive so I could see her opening a modeling business. Welcome to the club. Onion and all! 😜

And that whole scene is why Bill and Dani will probably be endgame. They fell back into their old roles waaaaay too easily. And there was chemistry there. HAHAHHAA!!! My gal wants ALL...THE...TEA.
