  1. This administration is awash in subpoenas and lawsuits and investigations.
  2. Maybe, he's been obnoxious for many years.
  3. Apparently, what "trophy hunting" provides is only a meager amount towards these countries GDP compared to eco-tourism, which brings in a much larger amount of money--but hey, just so Trump can be petty and overturn another Obama-era regulation while giving his whiny brats more opportunity to reclaim their lost manhood, I guess it's worth the possibility of depleting the elephant population.
  4. Having sex in the office? If the president of the U.S. can get busted for this, what made him think he wouldn't get caught? Either he just didn't GAF at that point or he thought he was shielded by being a member of the party in power. How clueless. Not to mention, his rabid anti-gay posture before all of this was revealed.
  5. How badly must you be behaving to get banned for life from somewhere? And that predator's paradise that is FOX News at that??! Fox News Bans Kiss Frontman Gene Simmons for Life
  6. I cannot even keep up with the rampant greed of this administration.
  7. Venus has kept her resolve all through what increasingly looks like a very sh*tty year. Police investigating $400,000 burglary at home of Venus Williams Two days before her match vs. Sloane Stephens! WTF!
  8. I hope the investigation is thorough because we, the public, need answers and everyone investigating needs to get to the bottom of this. In fact, in every single one of these allegations, I would hope that an honest thorough investigation is conducted. It's especially important to the public when it involves an elected official.
  9. Al Franken has consented to an investigation, which needs to go forward. I don't see anyone defending his behavior. Trump supporters, of all people, should be the last ones to talk given Don the Con's history with women. Trump won't, for obvious reasons. Also, hasn't he been silent about the latest crazed shooter? I guess when the shooter is a crazed looking white guy who had no business getting access to guns...in Trump's eyes, it's not a problem.
  10. I cannot say enough how terrible I think this tax bill is. One Republican Senator has spoken out against it, may there be more-enough to sent this bill to the dumpster where it belongs.
  11. A bit more information on the Democrat who captured the victory in Oklahoma.
  12. Yeah, she's getting married in New Orleans. I also heard she might have an exclusive agreement with Vogue magazine to release wedding pictures (not sure whether that's true). John Isner-meh. LOL. I'm surprised at the number of people who are surprised that Thiem and Mladenovic are dating. Supposedly, he mentioned it in an interview he did with some Austrian magazine. I just assumed everyone knew, she's been in his box at matches for several months now.
  13. Yeah @Mitch that high-note sort of came out of nowhere but the scene was so poignant, I was/am willing to overlook that pitchy moment.
  14. Honestly, everything is political. Some people would consider the way I wear my hair to be a political act and I have no say over how I am regarded. It's the reality that we live in and honestly, it's always been.
  15. Grigor Dimitrov will rise to #4 in the live rankings based on his performance in the WTF so far.
  16. Most people in this thread have been citing reputable (or even passable) source in links but boy, some of y'all are linking to some questionable blogs and websites! Lemme deconstruct one essential myth about Hollywood...it is NOT truly liberal. I repeat, It is NOT TRULY LIBERAL. Some of the actors may be Liberal. Some of the directors may be Liberal. Even some producers might be Liberal. But the Studio Bosses and the Executives with the power to 'greenlight' movies and TV shows? NOT LIBERAL. And they never were. It's similar to the owners of NFL and NBA franchises. Some of their players might be liberal but the owners are DEFINITELY NOT. Please learn how to make the distinction. Nobody here is claiming that one side owns deviant behavior, so the linking to a dubious website is unnecessary, by the way.
  17. When the cast sang at Chris and Nancy Hughes' wedding anniversary. It was poignant and heartfelt and completely fit the moment.
  18. As I've said before, a garbage tax reform bill by the GOP.
  19. Such madness. We are living an overly-broad satirical sketch that is passing for real life!
  20. And a Yankee! Hakeem Jeffries is Brooklyn born and bred and if there's one thing they can spot...it's a hustle. Boy, this GOP tax reform has no takers, least of all among its intended targets. Are we looking at another flop bill?
  21. No wonder Sessions and Trump Inc. are on the trot to find something to go after HRC for. Trump campaign has all this stuff to hide and shift focus from.
  22. I just posted an article about the prevalence of sexual harassment in Congress. One would think that in the halls where laws are passed (or at least they used to be) would be a place where there are safeguards in place to prevent people's personal space and rights being violated but nope! Hollywood's (and the entertainment industry) main problem is that it is made up of informal networks (meetings do really take place at hotels-lobbies, most times though) where breaches of etiquette happen daily (as an intern fresh out of school, I was once sent to the apartment of a male actor to drop off a script) but I'm still wrapping my head around lack of regard for the rule of law in government. I mean, it's government that passed sexual harassment laws in the first place, shouldn't they be abiding by it?
