I would guess she never cried more easily before. It's sickening what's been done to Brooke (and to KKL). Both the character and the actress deserve better after everything they've done for this show.

I wonder just how much damage this administration will do, and at the same time I don't think I want to know the answer.....

Time for yet another big disaster plot, and the cliches are out in force. "will go down in Emmerdale history" "one of the biggest-ever stunts" "The outcome is going to affect so many in the village as well. The aftermath is going to cause huge ripples" My reaction:

Although Brooke is the most egregious example of character assassination, all the female characters are suffering from horrible writing. It's such a contrast to how it used to be back in the good old days when B&B had such an extraordinary and diverse group of powerful female characters: Stephanie, Brooke, Sally, Sheila, Taylor and Macy. They all brought something different to the canvas.

Yes, the original is worth a watch, as is the first sequel "Hold the dream". But the third one should be avoided at all costs. It changes far too much from the novel, and Lindsay Wagner is a bad replacement for Jenny Seagrove as Paula. (Jenny played both Emma in the original and granddaughter Paula in the sequel)

And yet some people insist that KKL has influence over Brad Bell and dictates stories behind the scenes....
