^^ You have a much better way with words than I could ever have. I'll just say that (once again) their stunt fell flat for me. They keep doing them in a desperate attempt to recapture the genie in the bottle which was the plane crash. But that worked because it was the first and it was an unexpected event for Emmerdale back then. Nowadays these stunts come regularly and that has considerably lessened their impact. And don't think I didn't notice that none of the casualties was named Dingle.... 😠
