I Am A Swede

I wonder how many of those who find Finn/Poppy disgusting because of their familial connection were cheering and thinking that Thomas/Hope was a hot and sexy couple, not caring that they were step-siblings. (Not to mention any of the horrible things Thomas did to her)

I'm sure there are lots of stuff you could do with both Victoria and Leyla but they're not named Dingle, or associated with anyone named Dingle, so no one in charge gives a damn about them.

I guess they can try to erase it in the US, but the rest of the world was watching it unfold in real time as well, and their attempts at whitewashing it won't work.

Speaking of John Sugden..... He must be one of the most ridiculous characters ever created for this show not named Dingle. His whole purpose is to be a replacement for Robert. Making him a Sugden was nothing but a pathetic attempt to re-create the success of Robert/Aaron. He has absolutely no connection to anything Sugden except the name. Him being Jack's son has filled no purpose whatsoever and I wonder if it has meant anything to anyone. I doubt anyone who is still a Sugden-fan has been pleased with his presence, and I don't think any remaining Aaron/Robert fans care.

I wonder how much Albania's entry will change from now to May. They have a habit of changing their songs quite radically on occasion. I appreciate the throwback to Poupée de cire, poupée de son from Luxembourg, (I can't believe that song is now 60 years old!) and it's a reasonably catchy song, but Laura Thorn can't hold a candle to France Gall's charisma. Montenegro's song perhaps isn't bad, but it's boring. I like Balkan ballads, but we've heard so much better than this over the years.

It's baffling, isn't it? But, and correct me if I'm wrong since the bible isn't exactly my area of expertise, isn't there something in there about it being an abomination to lay with a man the same way as you do with a woman? That's the only reason I can think of. It doesn't really explain the almost pathological hatred for LGBTQ that these people exhibit though.

I wouldn't be surprised. Sacrificing a Sugden (however ill-conceived the character is) on the altar of a Dingle would be right up the alley for this show.

So, now is a murderer. But does anyone think he will join other people on this show who committed crimes, like Robert, Steve, Steph or Nick and go to prison?? Of course not, and we all know why, don't we?
