Would someone out there with TIVO or DVR be willing to tape this and maybe, I dunno, get clips? I'm going to tape it (lord knows there's no reason to tape GH unless TQ is on), but I only have VHS. I'm looking forward to it, because I think this is not the episode where she plays a lawyer (judge?).... ETA: Totally OT, but I'm feeling sorry for poor Hooked out at the Kentucky Derby. She's probably at The Oaks (which is a big pre-race festival in Louisville) and it's pouring down. Seriously--the building I work in is a converted Wal-Mart, and the thunder actually shook the walls. I think they should save her curls for romantic scenes, and let her look a little wild with it. So, is there any shot of more TQ today?

LeSwoon! I just had a date with Prince Dreamy McDamon! That's right--my first Netflix DVD showed up, and it was Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, starring Leslie Ann Warren and Stuart Damon. Now most of you are too young to remember this, but they played this sucker on television every year for the first ten years of my life. And I'm telling you, my sisters and I had our little butts plopped in front of the TV for every single showing. Stuart's singing voice was amazing--he was really a good tenor. Very handsome, in an urban ethnic sort of way, even with the hair helmet. Nice legs, too. As for our girl--Oh, I saw today's episode. Wow. Luke, you are such an idiot. I'm serious, a total idiot. But ghost!Prince McDreamy, uh, ghost!Alan made up for it with his little speech. I loved the look on Tracy's face as she was listening to him talk to Luke. Like, wow, my hero. So, Luke, you're a frackin' moron. You don't deserve her. Alan, you're a Prince Charming. Tracy, wow, babe, you really should just switch over to women. You have cruddy taste in men, even when they rock your world. Oh, and hideous fates of life--I was mentaficcing a Tracy and Paul reunion on the drive home. Somebody on SZ's live post mentioned they wanted "Tarcy's" hair, which makes me think OUR GIRL is ON today. Unless there's yet ANOTHER new character with the highly unlikely name of "Tarcy." Edit: Just read the recaps of Segments 1&2. It's official. Luke has lost his freaking mind.

Still no action on the new story, but I've been doing actual (gasp!) work at work today. Prepare yourselves in Hell, boys, because it's about to start snowing.... OMG. I just watched Smirks' "Fix You" and I'm TOTALLY freaking wibbling. Not a lot of TQ, but honestly? I don't care. The single best tribute to Alan I've seen yet, and a great video. Smirks, you don't do many videos, but every single one counts. Wow. Oh, and if the Psychotic, Mind-F'ing Spoiler Gawds are to be believed, Tracy is on today. Hooked--Derby weather report--it's freaking hot. Layer. Remember to layer. Oh, and say Hi to the Queen if you see her.

I am the LUCKIEST human on the planet. My beeeeeutiful wife, Fey, got me my birthday present early--(over a month early)--a year's subscription to Netflix! It's hilarious--my queue is sooooo odd. First up? Cinderella starring Leslie Ann Warren and Stuart Damon! My list is about 50% Broadway (yum yum yum) and 50% lesbian (oh, I've lived in the Bible Belt too long) with a smidge of camp and documentary in for good measure. Alas, neither season of Law & Order with Jane exists on DVD, but I've got "One is a Lonely Number" on "save" in case it ever comes out on DVD. I'm as happy as if I have sense. My next story, if it works that way, will be a bonding story with Tracy and young-teen!Dillon. It's called "Operation Kitchen Sink." Cross your fingers, right? Hooked, I'm about an hour from Louisville, except during Derby, when I'm three and half hours away (factoring in traffic!) Take a picture of the hat and post it here. You know we all want to see it. Tracy on tomorrow, if the Evil and Bad Gods of Spoilers can be believed. Did I mention I have Netflix now? Wheeeeeee!!!!!

ILTQ, which story made you sad? Interview (because that's a perfectly valid reaction to it. It made me sad, too.) I wasn't going for sad with 4-20-07, but there was hopefully a bittersweet aspect to it. The next one, I hope, will be much lighter.
