Edge of Night (EON) (No spoilers please)
@vetsoapfan The scene has finally arrived. The specific scene is around 9-10 minutes in. There are a few other scenes throughout the episode. Did Sara Louise die or did she just leave town? I couldn't tell from Laurie's phrasing. I wish they hadn't taken several weeks to get Laurie Ann back in the house and with her family, but these are beautiful moments, and I'm glad the show honored its history to some degree amidst this very jumbled end run. I could swear Forrest Compton is genuinely near tears at one point.

Tom and Margo are a confused case as I thought Scott Holmes had no chemistry with Hilary Bailey Smith but did with Ellen Dolan (until the late '90s when both became unwatchable). I'm sure some recasts have had good chemistry with the love interest they are brought in for, but the list is short. At the time, I did not have any rooting interest with Philip and either lady because I thought Philip was sanctimonious and dull and I still had some residual fond memories of Harley. Beth I barely knew so just saw this woman throwing herself into any available bed and having breakdowns. As time passed, I realized Beth Ehlers did not have chemistry with anyone anymore and was just cold to watch. I thought Beth Chamberlin had chemistry with a number of men, but I still didn't care about Beth, as she was clearly a plot device and a bed warmer. If I step back, I do think Beth Chamberlin and Grant Aleksander had chemistry. I just didn't give a damn.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
I haven't heard very much about his career in recent years...the last I heard about him was his talking about his failed marriage.

It will depend on how much Frank likes her and whether she is viable for conflict. I think they will likely be cautious over whether or not she starts going on a killing spree, but even if she does, Ava is still around even though much as I respect Maura West, I would have cut that character years ago. (I would mention Sonny, but Sonny is on his own level)

Thanks @Soapsuds For a character I had no interest in, I do have a lot of questions, like whether they planned a Mark/Lily pairing, what he thought of the treehouse stuff, T Jones, the Connor recast, having to cut his hair, if he blames cutting his hair for being fired, and so on. I doubt most of that would be talked about though.- Guiding Light Discussion Thread
That Olivia/Holly story sounds much more interesting to read about, although I'm sure Maureen would have played the hell out of it. I would have been interested in seeing Claire write for Lisa Brown, but Mae, Stacey, or a de-aged Trudy Bauer, that character was never staying around long.- Guiding Light Discussion Thread
