Watching Carl T Evans on the Locher Room and he mentioned auditioning for Ryan's Hope but Luke Perry got the role. That is likely Loving as there's not any record of Luke on RH that I recall. He also said that he and Brad Pitt were friends and they both auditioned for Alan-Michael. Imagine that...

Great to see your thoughts in here @Allan00 I haven't watched tons of that era of the show, but Meek does seem to be an acquired taste. I agree Gideon sold the turn in Liza. I am not sure what they could have done with her afterward but a complete fresh start could have helped...maybe buying a farm or something.

Tina returned briefly in season 2 and Julie was killed off. She's never spoken of the show that I can find, but I guess they just treated it as a gig and Julie as just another of the many women (I guess the first of those women) to be a corpse for Cliff and JR. I do remember liking her work in the role.

Or he's like his niece Daisy and never gets past about 18.

Thanks @Soapsuds last year I had seen his social media pages but everything seemed to end in the late '10s. Glad he's still involved. I wish they could have an episode with just the Alan Michaels (if the last actor even wants to talk about that mess).

Instagram GH's 63rd birthday video. I had to watch this a few times. Very fun. I forgot how hard "Birthday" goes for such a silly little song. I especially like the end of the video. That's a neat idea. Many Broadway performers have been on soaps but I'm not sure we've had this type of crossover.

He truly was forgettable as I think this is the second or third time this has happened (that and many were not watching by then - I didn't start back until the last year so I'll include myself). I suppose that's one benefit of giving Alan a long lost son. (I'm also glad they never had Gus and Alan fighting over a woman - imagine a GL where they fought over Harley...)

Rusty is the one I remember popping up the most. I wonder if Terrell ever talked about why he didn't come back for the end. I assume he was asked. I can't remember if they ever said anything about Rusty's life while he was away or if he just came and went. After all the damage Dinah did to Vanessa it is only right that she helped Vanessa return. Still, what a monkey's paw to get Vanessa back on and giving her some of the material I never thought she'd have regarding Matt and Billy - a shame Ross ended up going.
