  1. JOAN COLLINS Murder Between Friends interview 2026
  2. Lifetime Original Movies "Made for You" Promo (1995)
  3. I think that's one of the reasons she clicked with Rick (beyond Michael and Krista just being young and full of life in their early days together) as beyond Abigail, for a time, he never did either. When Rick and Mindy reunited at the end of the show I still thought they clicked.
  4. There are a number of good moments, I just didn't know if people would want to go through all the episodes looking for credits.
  5. It does seem very random. I hope someone who is brave enough to sit through 2005 AMC can tell us for sure.
  6. A lot of gay men are always going to hate on a product about gay men. That's just gotten worse with social media. Sometimes I think it's extreme and clearly just based on self-loathing and trying desperately to seem edgy and cool online. Some criticisms are valid. One positive of Looking, unlike Heartstopper, Heated Rivalry, and so on, is that it never became the property of weird stans or of women who fetishize gay men onscreen while in real life ranting against gay marriage, surrogacy, adoption, and the existence of gay men altogether. I do think some of the complaints were valid in that I didn't find Patrick overly compelling as a lead and I didn't think he and Richie were a couple worth investing in. Patrick treated him in a patronizing way even as Patrick was meant to be the central focus (in that sense I can see the Carrie Bradshaw comparison). Once they had Patrick having an affair with Kevin, the stories were more interesting as Kevin was very messy and not there to teach Patrick how to be a good gay. There were also more moments I thought suited Jonathan Groff and some lovely set pieces, like the scene where they are dancing to "Lost in Music." I do see where they shifted focus from Augustus after the first season (I got the sense he and Patrick were meant to have more of a what-might-have-been thing - as time passed this went more toward Patrick/Dom [and if I had written the show I would have ended it with Patrick and Dom]). I don't remember watching the second season as closely. If I ever have time I will try to go back again but I'm mostly good with my memories. There's a certain stillness and innocence which I take away from the show which you wouldn't get in today's choppily edited, bleakly lit, excessively self-aware, smugly vacuous landscape.
  7. That's great! Thanks! They seemed to save more of their episodes than Number 96. I guess by then there was not as much of a policy about junking?
  8. Here's an interview with Jorn from 2010. I don't know if he mentions his soap work (it's a short interview). I didn't realize (if IMDB is accurate) he returned to producing and directing AMC for a period in 2005. Here's another part.
  9. Susan was a bit too old, although she would have been interesting to watch - she had that otherworldly quality Betsy probably should have had.
  10. This is just from 1985.
  11. They missed a trick by not having a rapid aged Kevin returning in the late '80s or early '90s. Liz could fuss over him and he'd be a rival for Matt - he'd be a brand new character but also a character established enough to be involved with the Corys.
  12. Uncovered : Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes - Australian TV Interview from 1989 @jam6242 This has been up for a year and a half but I was tagging in case it's new to you. Sorry if it's not. A reminder of how big DAYS was in Australia for a time. There is a shorter clip from this where they talk about not being on the show. Susan throws enough shade to darken a metropolis. Days of Our Lives: Secrets from Doug and Julie Williams in 1989
  13. UNCOVERED - Joan Van Ark from Knotts Landing - 1989 Australian TV Interview
  14. Keith/Jonathan on Loving and Adam/Stuart on AMC would be two others. I can't remember how Guy Davis came across on OLTL but he never had a chance. Shawn Thompson was OK but not suited to a leading man role on a soap and not that convoluted debut. If GL had tried to bring him in similar to Fletcher's role, comedic with a heart and unlucky in love, maybe, but they already had Fletcher.
