I finally finished my year long journey watching season 3 of Dallas and in the end I found it horrible. I know many think it was good, but the drama was so petty and it just felt like groundhogs day for me. Now 3 episodes into season 4 and this is the show I loved the first two seasons! I think the cast shakeup by swapping Katy’s has helped the show. The new Kary is rich and shallow which I love and I’m enjoying seeing a different perspective since she is Mexican. In general the relationships seem strong so far. I know things get dark, but this has me more excited for season 5 than I had been.

In general unless it’s a special event I prefer not to have flashbacks at all, but I hate when they do recreated flashbacks which net look like the time period (and often change history) or when hey avoid major flashbacks because of an actor change.

Don’t click the link if you care about spoilers, but this weeks promo includes a clip with Deborah Adair as Jill. This led me to wonder, how do y’all feel about flashbacks with previous actors in the role? My feeling is that it’s fine and I love when soaps do it. For example, Y&R did an entire story with newly created flashbacks for the Abbott’s. How is that any different than showing real flashbacks with actors who played the roles? These are soaps. We know recasts happen often. I’d much prefer showing real flashbacks. When Y&R was bringing Cane on I remember they did a flashback montage of Jill/Kay, but they cut Jill out because the clips were Jess Walton. It led to confusion with viewers thinking the blurred out woman was a mystery character joining the show.

Say Something was okay, but Magic is pure Kylie. The video is slinky and sexy and fits the theme perfectly! I also love the song! I’m getting excited for this album. I know the tour is going to be amazing whenever that happens.

Looks like they got caught up in a Deniss/Luann Pirate type of situation lol! Tanya is currently in Canada quarantining so I’m wondering if she just ain’t coming back since she’s just a friend and obviously doesn’t want this shown. She also is going to miss Cynthia’s wedding now.

@Cheap21 It’s funny you posted that because I have noticed the Married to Medicine women have been supportive of Monique. These are DOCTORS with real careers and reputations to protect, but they still are themselves on tv which I appreciate. As we know, Mariah and Toya is probably the most iconic Real Housewives right. A true brawl. Can you imagine had that happened on this show? Lawd! They dealt with it and moved forward because shyt happens! I hate that Gizelle, Wendy and Robyn are trying to make it a race issue and acting like Monique shouldn’t be forgiven.

In his video about Nene’s exit, Funky Dineva mentioned talking to Quad who was unsure about taking Bravo’s offer to be a friend this season. He explained to her that the money is better than she’s going to magically get elsewhere and it’s better not to burn bridges. It looks like she will appear in that capacity but I must say I was excited for a completely Quad free season lol. Talk about someone who stayed YEARS longer than they should have! I must say, I’m more excited for Married to Medicine than I am for RHOA. I’ll watch both, but I literally cannot wait to see their cast photo and trailer.

@Taoboi Tamra is open to next season but won’t appear this season. And yes, per the description from Bravo, Braunwyn comes under fire for supporting Black Lived Matter and Covid safety. That is just too dark for me. I can’t see it being entertaining. Now the Potomac mid season trailer is fantastic! These ladies get better each year and always deliver. I say that each year and it remains true. It’s an unbelievable streak for a Housewives show and they’ve largely done it with minimal cast changes. Also from the next episode clip, it highlights why I hate Gizelle. To me, Gizelle and Robyn are the villains, not Candiace or Monique. I feel like they both fell into Gizelle and Robyn’s trap to make them fall out. Gizelle has been jealous of Monique from day one and she is gleeful that she can now throw her under the bus. To say she and Jamal have a reputation to uphold?! They are a joke! Now with a Beverly Hills, I’m feeling like the Erika rumors may be true. Let’s be real: In a Covid world you can’t do a fake storyline of going on a tour of gay clubs. Her son won’t film with her, her husband will barely film with her and she isn’t really friends with anybody in the cast. I can see her turning down the Friend offer due to pride. I hope whatever cast additions they make are as strong as Sutton and a Garcelle were. They have a gift coming into the new year. Kyle, Rinna, Sutton, Garcelle are a strong bunch to rebuild around if done correctly. My only request is that one newbie is Garcelle’s friend. She’s said repeatedly she wants Sheree, Will Smith’s ex to join and I feel she’d be perfect. Plus I hate Garcelle having to be the only black person so having another black woman would make her feel less like an outsider.

@Taoboi For me OC is a for sure no. The new housewife and Kelly have turned me off by going full on MAGA and I feel like the only A Team Housewives left are Kelly (who is no longer likable) and Shannon. Braunwyn is still new and Gina and Emily are flops. I don’t mind Vicki and Tamra leaving, but it’s the wrong cast to follow up their exit IMO. I’ll likely wait until a few episodes have aired and see what people say. I also noticed on Twitter that people with screeners of the first episode are saying it wasn’t good and they’ll need Tamra back. Typically the people who get screeners always hype it regardless of content. That tells me it really ain’t good.

Why does everybody think she’s connected to Finn or Chase? I’m about a week behind so I’m not sure where all this news is coming from.

I’m happy to see y’all praising season 12 of RHOC, their last good season! Replacing Lydia and Peggy with Emily and Gina killed the franchise imo. I’m so thankful Salt Lake City is coming because I will not be watching this upcoming season. Speaking of, we have a super trailer for Salt Lake City. This looks *amazing* and much better than I anticipated. I also love the graphics for the opening with the snowflakes. I feel like this could be another Potomac in terms of coming out of nowhere and just being amazing. This has a style of its own and these women seem very open to showing their lives if these trailers are anything to go by. I was stunned to see them openly say Mary is sleeping with her grandpa lol. I can’t wait!

I do kinda see Nene’s side, particularly with this Andy/Wendy thing. They IMMEDIATELY posted the clips of Wendy talking about Nene on Twitter and Youtube. She had kept quiet so I can see why she’d be upset, particularly at her friend talking negatively of her. On the other hand, I feel like Andy is probably the only person in the room who wanted her to stay lol. I also feel like Nene does deserve a spin off. I Dream of Nene was good between her girlfriends and then the drama with all of Greg’s kids. I would definitely watch if they did another spin off for her.

Y’all need to listen to Heather’s podcast! She has Carole on and this is the most real behind the scenes podcast I’ve heard for a housewife! I just am maybe 15 minutes in and Heather is talking about Luann offering her a joint and heavy drugs on the St Barth’s trip. Also she talks about hiding Sonja, Luann and the pirate doing heavy drugs from the producers. These two are *so* real and it literally sounds like two friends having a private conversation.

I feel like we will get a feel for the New York cast by the middle of October. I believe Sonja, Ramona, Luann and Leah are all returning. At least two new housewives is my guess, but three rumored to be joining: June Ambrose, a stylist and designer Alicia Quarles, I believe she’s a journalist Bershaun Shaw, motivational speaker/rich from a divorce

We never get anything good and with Denise going I was worried but I’m happy at least Teddi is gone as well! Ideally Erika or Rinna would join her, but I’ll take what I can get. I’m hoping the new HW announcements give us the same excitement as Garcelle/Sutton. I want at least one friend of Garcelle to join!

I hate to say I’ve seen her in things but she is still such a non entity to me lol. She’s the main one I’m concerned with being interesting and she’s the only one we kinda know!

Oh I’d have no interest in that cast. Losing Tami is a huge blow and I don’t see a name that is Making me feel okay with her not being there. British? Really? And I love that OG is back, but Cece was the MVP of last season. No Cece and I’m out.

Okay I’m going to keep an open mind with RHOA since they do have 3 newbies. We all thought Sutton would be a bore based on photos and she ended up being delightful. I actually like that they added 3 unknowns. I’m mostly curious who will have a peach. You have 3 newbies and two long term friends plus the four returnees. That’s a lot of women. I’m wondering if Marlo and/or Tanya will get pushed out because I can’t see 9 women on a cast trip.

According to this article, it looks like Leah is asking for pay on par with Luann and Sonja. If that’s true then her ass an kick rocks! Ain’t no damn way. In the end I expect she’ll accept an offer and return, but I’m more interested in seeing who these two ladies are that are joining.

Teddi is being BLASTED for her All In eating disorder program. Clients are revealing screenshots of texts and it looks BAD. One lady said she couldn’t get a period for almost 3 years after the program. if you click the link it’s a full thread with receipts. Damn! Denise needs to return and the girls need to give Teddi a taste of her own medicine and make this the storyline. Also, keyboard warrior Teddi is silent of course. Kyle has been all over fans mentions attacking them for revealing this. She’s also attacking Camille for retweeting it lol.
