  1. I'm confused. The edit button does exist. It's in the "..." next to the group "Members". That's how the new system implemented it this go around.
  2. It should be working fine. The video you intended to post shows up in the quoted text without issue.
  3. Hearing Christine Tudor discuss the "Loving" Murders really helps culminate all the discussion ya'll have had on this storyline. It's like a resolution to the questions we've all had. She's amazing! OMG!!! Bryan Cranston!!!

  5. It’s Official: The First ‘Loving’ Virtual Cast Reunion to Feature Lauren Marie Taylor, Christine Tudor, Noelle Beck and More: https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2020/05/official-loving-virtual-cast-reunion-scheduled
  6. Aww, thanks for the heads up. Very cool. That's an ironic choice in photos. Not going to explain why. Ya'll know.
  7. I just love these people. So much drama on screen and behind the scenes. Monday nights were my night on FOX. Alison and Billy, Alison and Jake (before they got boring), Jake and Amanda, Jake and Sydney, Sydney and Craig, Michael and Kimberly. My couples! The 80s had "Dallas" and "Dynasty," but the 90s, for me, was all about "Melrose Place." It and "Models, Inc.," and later "Savannah," were what made me a Spelling fan. When he launched "Sunset Beach" I was in Spelling heaven.
  8. Watching the classic episode from Friday, I have to say I really love seeing a blonde Heather Tom. The episode, so far, is really what a true soap looks like. The budget though! It's clear the show had money and time on its hands. The amount of closeup shots on actor faces as they went from scene to scene didn't feel unnecessary. It felt right, especially the one of Victor on the phone with Miguel and then talking under his breath when Miguel tells him that Nikki doesn't want to be found. I also noticed that even though I know this history, I'm REALLY involved with what's gonna happen next. The consequences facing these characters as they lie and cheat feels really, real.
  9. A ‘Loving’ Virtual Cast Reunion Planned for Beloved ABC Daytime Drama Series: https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2020/04/loving-virtual-cast-reunion-planned
  10. Honestly, I loved Chloe and Billy. They were a pair that I was rooting for. At this point, regardless of storyline, I'd take them back or even Chloe with Adam. Not a fan of Billy/Victoria. Never was.
  11. Thank you for posting this. What a thrill it was to hear Jeanne talk so fondly of the the show, the details, Lee Phillip Bell and how both helped elevate the genre. I've only been in the same room with Jeanne a few times in my lifetime, but I always knew when I saw her I was standing next to a legend. I said to someone recently that they are doing the work of the soap gods, and I dare say that Jeanne is up there in heaven representing as one of said gods.
  12. What's great about this type of programming planning is that the shows would be able to easily transition to a streaming platform for binge purposes if they edit enough product. Under normal circumstances, no one would have time to do this but considering how many jobs are on the line the longer the shows are out of production this will at least curtail job losses for the time being. Meanwhile, "GH" continues staying in 2018. What they are airing next is beyond...
  13. Personally, I'm not here for Gigi. I was a Jan stan from the get. But if not Jan, I'll take a Widow or Heidi N Closet. Oh, and yes, Jaida. That Madonna song/dance was damn sexy. You could barely tell that was a man in drag.
  14. I think this part relates to what Tracey E. Bregman was talking about early on in this thread, btw: The stars of “Y&R” and “B&B” will provide bonus content with fresh commentary at the beginning and end of many episodes. Additional “theme weeks” of both series will be announced in the near future.
  15. Honestly, from a business (marketing/advertising) standpoint, it's the best decision they could make. Much of their current cast is still there from that era, which is the point. If they went further back, they would show too many people either not on anymore or played by other people. It makes sense. "Y&R" can get away with it because many of the people featured in their classic episodes are still there, played by the same people.
  16. Episode breakdown: CBS Sets Themed Week of "Y&R" and "B&B" Classic Episodes https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2020/04/yr-bb-themed-week-legendary-characters-epic-travels
  17. That's a supernatural CBS schedule.
  18. God... NJ GOvernor interupts now. Just two minutes of this show aired in NY
  19. Good because I was forced to watch "DAYS" Unrelated, I'm actually liking single dad Rafe.
  20. How has it been 11 years and these people still look the same. My god. Soaps stars have great genetics it seems.
  21. "Loving" was MY soap. My family watched the ABC soaps, particularly "All My Children'" and "General Hospital," but "Loving" was my show. I would even SKIP school just to watch my favorite character, Ava, and her hijinks with Alex and Jeremy. The theme song was just a dream. The only show at the time with a lyrical opening. Man I was pissed when it was canceled and replaced by "The City." Had no clue it was happening since I didn't get the soap mags at the time. Was just getting into it then. The new show was alright, but most of the characters that moved over weren't the ones I cared much for. To me, this is the soap that could be rebooted easily even if you get a whole host of new characters and change the setting. Just follow the beats of Agnes Nixon, and this murder mystery story in particular, and you'll have the BEST 30 minute soap in ages. Just need people who aren't going to shit on soaps with malarkey and sci-fi nonsense to do it.
  22. Just seeing how two "classic" episodes have aired, both in April, and this discussion thread has more views and comments than the entirety of Y&R's original episodes thread for April. Either we are a group of old timers feeling nostalgic, or Y&R isn't that interesting to many of you these days.
  23. Another GL reunion on 4/15: "Spend the afternoon with some of your GL favorites on April 15 (Grant Aleksander, Beth Chamberlin, Yvonna Kopacz Wright, Michael O'Leary and Tina Sloan)." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW8LgEr_gBo Also one on 4/22: Don't miss the chance to see Daniel Cosgrove, Wes Ramsey, Emme Rylan, Cynthia Watros and Laura Wright when they join me for a chat on April 22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QxK_eHsL0E
  24. No. It's a virtual YouTube hangout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xg7PFP1SE7M
