I give the character until May sweeps, summer tops, before he's killed off in a "Who Dun It?" storyline.

It's only February (technically March from a business standpoint). They have a full two months and a few days to get a pilot ordered, make casting decisions (mostly done I'm sure since we know what the show's about and it's a show with 41+ years of history, and a plethora of talent already wanting to be in it), so I have faith it'll still be in contention for fall 2021. Heck, even if they don't have all the work done by the time upfronts come around in mid-May I still think time is on the potential show's side. If the pilot doesn't get the green light within the next two or three weeks, maybe I'd be more concerned but not too much. Heck, if nothing else, for all we know the network might just decide to not move forward with the show as a primetime reboot and just slap it onto its daytime schedule instead. It'd make an iconic message that the show came back 10 years after cancellation. One can dream...

@BoldRestless, You spoke too soon! My apologies everyone. The work was completed when it was supposed to but I fell asleep before I got the notice. After a few hiccups this morning, the message boards are back online. Again, my apologies for the delay.

😝 New server. Same administration. We're a one party government with no term limits. LOL.

UPDATE: So, the hosting provider for our message boards took longer than expected to build the system and have it available for our use. I was informed today, after more than a month since placing the order, that the transition is now ready to take place. Therefore, starting late this evening, the message boards will be offline so that they can transfer our data from our current server to our new one. The physical work should take no more than an hour or so, with the overall server not going down except for maybe a period of five minutes. When I get the go-ahead, I will turn the message boards back on shortly after midnight tonight.
