Not even surprised to see JM #1

They need to do something about Jessica Collins & MCE being the #1 & #2 ladies in screen time. That's just crazy to me.

Happy for Mishael Morgan getting that much airtime. I don't think BJ has been on this much since Dru died. Good for him! Wow to CK having more airtime in a month than Cane. Has that ever happened before?

MCE needs far less airtime...here's hoping that happens when Adam leaves canvas.

Nice to see Jess have a higher numbers.

I guess this will be the last we see of Muhney being in the top ten.....

It actually felt like more - and I'm the first to complain about the lack of airtime for Jess... Jill was a real presence in December. She was not just taking to andabout Cane and/or Billy. She had scenes she carried on her own. I hope this continues!

I hope they convince her to sign a contract, if they managed to get Tracey E. Bregman back, why not Jess? :D

The whole story of her being recurring on choice is ludicrous. She LEFT the show for being punished with awful dialogue and awful non-stories for years.

It's true that JFP brought her back but up until Jeanne's death it looked like the show could not afford to her on-screen for more than 4 episodes a month due to budget restraints. Now that the budget is +1 mill it would be indeed great for Jess to continue to the legacy on this show, meaning she gets at least that kind of contract MTS has.

Yes, she lives in Oregon and flies in to do the show.

When she came back, she only agreed to do so on a recurring capacity.

I don't think a contract option was ever mentioned. For me it sounded like a positive spin that she agreed to come back but at the same time keep her new life in Oregon...

I don't know, in one of her earliest interviews, JFP mentioned that when she spoke to Jess, she only agreed to come back recurring.

Honestly, we should be lucky she came back at all after the way Maria Arena Bell treated her. When Jess exited in 2012, Maria promised she'd be back on contract after a few months break. Per Jess, that never happened and she was shocked when JFP contacted her late last year and asked if she would come back. By that point, she had already sold her California properties and located to Oregon. From what I've heard, she's recently purchased an apartment in LA, so she has a place to stay when she's working more heavily.

JW said that when she left Y&R during MAB's tenure that she never was returning. MAB basically covered herself with the "she will be back" stuff but that was never the intention. When JFP took over she called up JW and asked her to return. She said that she agreed on a recurring basis because at the time she was happy in Oregan and her first grandchild was on the way. Now the baby is born and older. She has adjusted to travelling between states and has purchased an apartment in LA (she was staying with Jeanne Cooper). I think JW will probably go back to contract in 2014 now that the system is working. Can't blame her for testing it out first.

I have notice that Avery's screentime is descreasing more and more. I guess they finally got the message that she is just not leading lady material. Not shocking that Hilary took a massive jump and Kelly is way up there too.

Something is really wrong with a show when, out of all its wonderful female characters, it is Chelsea, Avery and Victoria who are in the top 10

I'll never get the fascination with either one of those three female characters, all bland and boring.
