Anyone else get the impression from the Politico article that the Republican House Intelligence Committee staffers were actually sent to London with the expressed but covert purpose of intimidating Steele?

It's kind of laughable that 2 lame likely white guys believed they could intimidate a former MI-6 agent if that was their purpose.

I'm pretty sure we know who commissioned it. It was one of the GOP primary challengers - I thought Bush did but could have been someone else.

The good news just continues.

I jst read this morning they have been at it for over a year. I was shocked. Mueller hasn't said word one to the press, and neither has anyone on his team. that's how you do it...keep your mouth shut until you're ready to present your evidence. I love the guy personally. LOL

I honestly wouldn't put it past Bannon to do something like that. if he can't have everything his way, he'll burn the whole damn thing to the GROUND.

Very lovely and you're right about the present administration, especially the head of it, who, nine out of ten former Presidential advisors would agree, is dumber than a bag of rocks. At least according to the ones quoted in this article in the New Yorker .

Why Is Donald Trump Still So Horribly Witless About the World?

Max Boot, a lifelong conservative who advised three Republican Presidential candidates on foreign policy, keeps a folder labelled “Trump Stupidity File” on his computer. It’s next to his “Trump Lies" file “Not sure which is larger at this point,” he told me this week. “It’s neck-and-neck".

“He seems as clueless today as he was on January 20th”.--Max Boot

“Trump has an appalling ignorance of the current world, of history, of previous American engagement, of what former Presidents thought and did,” Geoffrey Kemp, who worked at the Pentagon during the Ford Administration and at the National Security Council during the Reagan Administration, reflected. “He has an almost studious rejection of the type of in-depth knowledge that virtually all of his predecessors eventually gained or had views on.”
