The Amazing Race 10 - Cast Revealed!

I'll answer my own question ;)

NOPE.

But the race started in Miami (had I known I would of tried to get to Miami airport!) this past Monday (11/20). Can you imagine racing around the world on Thanksgiving? Well ... actually, I take that back.

Anyway, David/Mary, Romber and Uchenna & Joyce are pretty much confirmed in. Dustin/Kandice (or a blonde female team, which would leave Lena/Kristy), Charla/Mirna (spotted at Miami airport), Colin/Christie, Guidos (spotted at Miami airport), Kevin/Drew, and John Vito/Jill are all said to be in.

There's also a team of a man with a straw hat and a girl (likely Blake & Paige or Jon & Kris).

Personally ... not a bad cast at all. And as much as I'd like to see the Beauty Queens on TAR11, I think it'd be better if they had Lena/Kristy back to represent TAR6 (only if Kris/Jon aren't in, which they SO should be).

Sooo ...

1. David & Mary - TAR10

2. Rob & Amber - TAR7

3. Uchenna & Joyce - TAR7

4. Blonde Female Team

5. Charla & Mirna - TAR5

6. Colin & Christie - TAR5

7. Guidos - TAR1

8. Kevin & Drew - TAR1

9. John Vito & Jill - TAR3

10. Guy in straw hat & woman

That leaves *at least* 2 slots left. Rumor has it they might add more teams (I've heard 15) and get rid of double legs and non eliminations.

I cannot stand either of the girl teams at all. They both acted terrible tonight. I would have to say Lyn & Karyn acted worse. They were planning on Yielding the Beauty Queens but when the Queens yielded them it was dirty. I am so tired of both of them. I don't like either girl team but can take the Queens better than the Bama team. The Bama team have not raced a good game at all, and are way to negative. If they win this thing this will be one very disappointed person.

Tonight was the first time I got excited.

I HATE those blonde beeyotches. Whoever wore the pink NY shirt has the biggest teeth I've ever seen!

I wanted Lyn/Karlyn to be #1. Damn those methheads! <_<

YESSSSSSSSSS! I'm so happy the Blondes didn't get eliminated. I'm loving them. They are so right when they say they aren't being evil or rude, they are just playing a game! I would be the same way - its a competition - you aren't there to help others get ahead of you.

The Bama girls - well Karlyn mostly - are complete hypocrites. They are being rude along with being just evil. When have the Blondes flipped off anyone, or been so negative or had an attitude? The Blondes are just enjoying the race and trying to win money. I hope the Bama girls go next. How can they just whine about being Yielded when they admitted before they would Yield the Blondes too!?! Hypocrites! Plus the Yield is there for a reason! Its part of the game.

Anyway rant over. lol - I agree this season is dragging so much - but happy the Blondes are still in it.

Sorry, but the Blondes yielding Lyn & Karlyn WAS dirty! Those teams have been hating on each other from the get-go so I understood why they did it. But it's dirty gameplay. I f-ing HATED the way they set up that Yield- total BS IMO, which is why everyone should have trusted their own game & gone on with it. You know, kinda like Rob & Kimberly and Tyler & James did?

Anyway, I do love those blondes and they've run a phenomenal race. They deserve to win IMO but I wouldn't mind Bama winning either.

Tyler & James went down even further in my book when they raced to the mat ahead of Lyn & Karlyn. Those ladies hadn't won a leg yet, the time difference was minimal, and true gentlemen would have let the ladies have their time in the sun. Neither one of those guys was raised right IMO.

Karma was a beyotch to Dustin & Kandice- and karma it was! Yielding L&K was pointless and only further showed their lack of character. Not ethics within a game. But character. And while I love em, D&K just don't have any of that.

:) Sorry been away from this thread too long!

I really enjoyed this week's episode even though I don't really "love" any of the teams left. I'll be least happy with Rob & Kim winning.

As for TAR11... we really won't know anything for sure until Dec 10 (if they air a preview after the finale) or on Dec 11 on The Early Show.

Phil, Betram, and Elise may or may not make TARcon or The Early Show becuase of filming so we'll wait and see.

As for the teams... I am SOOOOOO upset that Romber is 99% confirmed back. I really don't want to see them drag TAR back into the ground. The fact that Romber made it onto All-Stars and Teri & Ian and Ken & Gerard DID NOT is a travesty.

The only hope is that they clash with Colin & Christie with C&C knocking them right into sequesterville. All the while, the other teams run right past them.

The only consolation is that Kris & Jon might be back.

I really hope TAR11 doesn't bomb.

***crosses fingers for Kris & Jon***

They were the best to ever run the race. And they lost- to Freddy & Kendra who I HATED!

I kinda likes John Vito & Jill so I'm glad they're back. John Vito is at least good eye candy IMO.

Don't mind having Romber back. No surprise there.

I hate the Alabama girls. I'm sick of their constant [!@#$%^&*]ing.

I'm still not liking the Blondes but they're more tolerable than Alabama.

I'm rooting for the models now and hope that Rob/Kim make it to second (and I never thought I'd say that in a million years...)

I don't think Colin & Christie are on All Staars anymore. Someone at Sucks posted a picture of Christie at a Texas Beauty Pageant from a week ago. And she looked like she might be pregnant.

    • He definitely had it going on back in the day
    • I have long given up on logic and Mayor Laura Collins! It makes about as much sense as Luke being elected mayor over Lee Baldwin in the 80’s, maybe even less sense. She committed manslaughter as a teenager, was involved with a mobster (I guess credit for them taking Smith down), had a shoot out in her home and killed another mobster in self defense, thought she bludgeoned her stepfather to death, then was catatonic for years. Her current husband had a twin that was a serial killer, had his own breakdown that threatened lives, and most recently hid his brother for treatment and that allowed Ryan to escape and kill again. And had hook killer Esme as a houseguest and is raising her child. I don’t care for Sonny anymore but their relationship is just another thing that involves suspension of belief to watch the show. I wish someone on this show would remind these adults that they used to pull way worse stuff than this! I would love a scene where Laura is sitting with Lulu and tells her while she is not happy this is nothing compared to what she got up to when she was young, and maybe even some understanding that she would also do stupid stuff if she believed in the cause. Olivia reminding Dante that he was wild as a teen and this isn’t that. Felicia reminding Anna that they were being shot at when pretty close to Emma’s age. These characterizations are just so basic. Have some fun with the actual history of the show. That kind of wink would mean more to me than just name dropping some random fact.
    • There are no dumb questions here, we've all known each other long enough to fill in information without shaming each other.  We want you to be happy @carolineg.  Your POV as one of the few women here is vital. So, please, I hope you never feel as if any question, idea, or opinion is ever silly or stupid.  Your daily reminders about the realities of manicure and menstrual management has become a part of the personality of this thread. As for Hank, while I'm confident there's a plan in place.  It is frustrating that they announce these casting so far in advance that it is tough as an audience and wait it out until the thing happens.  I'm happy they didn't blow it the second Mike was in town, a week after meeting Liam. So, it is a slow burn.
    • I think his full name is Chadwick.  I remember, back when the previous actor was playing him, someone called him Chadwick a couple of times.  It may have been Stefano.
    • I didn't like those two sleeping together, but I suuure liked seeing BF in them. Wiggle and all. Just sad about the waxing of the chest.   Same.
    • It’s strange. I wonder if the writers at that time had worked with him somewhere else and had a relationship? That time is murky AF to find info on. Rachel Ames in effect left the show at one point in the early 80’s and she is credited like she was there until JFP. Tristan Rogers also took various contract breaks that were not short, and websites also credit him one long stint from 1981-1992. So many people come and go in short succession in 1982-part of 1983. I know they lost a lot of viewers when Genie left, but the show somehow survived yearly at number one through like sheer force of will.
    • In that way, at least we were fortunate.  The Daniel Pilon/Ron Raines decisions...not so much.
    • Letting Brennan put it in yet again while smirking over his shoulder... any day now! She's got him just where she wants him! I do think ol' Jack will be dead by February at the absolute latest. They have set him up as a counter-heavy to Sidwell, forcing poor Joss to work his next scheme or threatening to have her sent down for treason. Once he croaks I still deeply fear we will be subject to Valentin and Carly, partners in crime to lovers, possibly out to find out 'who killed Jack'. Anna was at her best keeping Sonny at arm's length and often somewhat cold, which she only really did (for better or worse) off and on during Carlivati's tenure. But Finola gradually got too emotional over Sonny, Jason, etc. and was allowed to do that onscreen too much long ago. Mulcahey brought some of that steel back, though Finola still managed to choke or quietly sob through some of that material as Anna found her way there lol. She's a brilliant actress and she did a good job with that stuff in '24, but now we're back to the same old and it humiliates the character whether she knows it or not.
