I hope many of them are lining up to hire Matt ASAP. He's too good a talent to lose from daytime TV.

I'd like to see him either return to OLTL or join the cast of Y&R.

I'm guessing because he has a family, the offer would have to be really good to get him on to the East Coast, which leaves Y&R, GH (which he has done) and Passions.

Oh yeah, how could I forget B&B is in LA too But like you said he'd be gone in 6 months (unless he starts looking and acting like an ageing 70's porn star )

He could show up on B&B and he does have personal and professional history with Hunter Tylo because of all the awareness benefits they have done together. It would be really cool to see those two actors working together, I'm sure they'd have a lot of chemisty.

And I personally would love to see Matt work on Y&R. He'd be great as a new love interest for Victoria or for Drucilla. Imagine if he came on board as a man from Brad's past, possibly his biological brother. That would be wicked. Or if they wanted to give him a mean streak, someone from Michael's past.

Maybe GH, but Y&R is the better choice but that show is heavy with talent. He colud start minor as Sharon's shrink.

Even though it is on the east coast I would love to see him show up on either gl as a Phillip replacement or on Atwt as just about anyone at this point. I just want him back on my screen soon.

With the emphasis lately on the Logan family he would be perfect to come on as Brooke's brother, Storm.

Other roles that I think he would be good for:

Josh Snyder or Caleb Snyder on ATWT. If it is Josh/Rod, then maybe we could finally explore why he and Meg broke up.

Matthew is a little bit younger than the actor who last played Josh/Rod, but only a few years. He is the right age for Caleb. I do think Josh/Rod would have more story for him. I just think he would be great as one of the Snyders and would be great on ATWT.

On AMC he could always be Jake Martin since they aged him so much when J. Eddie Peck took on the role. Or he could come back as Greg Nelson. I doubt that the show will ever revisit that history though.

On GL as already mentioned he could be Philip Spaulding, but I doubt GL would have the money to pay him.

I'm for Matt returning to GH as Tom Hardy. I like the idea someone else in another topic mentioned regarding a pairing of Tom and Skye.

OLTL maybe as a re-cast for Scott Bryce as Dr. Ed Crosby or maybe as a re-cast of David Vickers, if Tuc Watkins leaves, which I hope he doesn't.

I think Matt Ashford could be great on ATWT. Heck, he could even become the new Craig . Not that he is my first choice as recast, but he is talented and it seems that Hunt Block doesn't want to come back . So I wouldn't mind seeing Matt as the new Craig

That is exactly what I thought when I saw this post!!! He and Crystal Chappell would rock the world!!!

Call me crazy, but I'd kinda like to see him on Passions. I think he'd have fantastic chemistry with Andrea Evans, Juliet Mills, or maybe even Lindsey Hartley. For some reason, I could really see him over there.
