Yes and no. He was allowed to interact with Erica after the Mimo stuff, until Dixie showed up. Erica has never been able to cut David out of her life completely, hence the reason she went to him for help even after the Mimo stuff, and the same is true for David. He's never been able to completely let Erica out of his life either. The scene in the police station in 2004 said more to me then anything else in the last 3 years.

Erica had just had David arrested, and still, when they thought bullets were flying, he moved without hesitating to protect Erica. He was willing to take a bullet for her, despite it all. That's why he belongs on the Kane side of things. Because when push comes to shove, even with the whole Miranda thing looming, David has their backs.

Look, all I'm saying is that they cut him off from the rest of PV in order to be Dixie's lackey. And I don't like it.

I want him in Erica's life, always. But I'm content to wait until someone takes out the TrashBag. Until then, I want David nowhere near Erica or her fetus.

If you say so. But VI didn't seem to like the fact that David is currently on lockdown from the rest of PV, either, so it's not just me.

Since Frons came on the scene, David's family was systematically destroyed, starting with the previous set of HWs. McTrash seems to prefer it that way too, keeping him isolated in her little loner villian box, only taking him out to stir the plot at her whim. None of that is specifically Dix's fault, and in no way did Vincent indicate that in his interview. He had the most issue with Babe cutting David out of her life, after all he had sacrificed for her. The best David will ever do IMO, especially with this HW, is have moments of happiness struggling against his isolation, seeking love but never quite finding it. It's a shameful waste of Vincent's enormous talent, but since I view that as a larger ABCD issue with their veteran actors, he can only remedy it himself when his contract ends.

All I was saying is that Vincent himself doesn't seem to like David in loner mode, no matter what or who the cause is, so it's not just me who thinks he should have more contact with other's in PV. That's really all my point was. I blame a lot on Dixie, but in no way did I mean to imply that she is the only reason David cut off from PV.

It's all McTrash. For all I care, he can stay in Dixieland until the TrashBag is removed. She can't dive bomb D&E like she's doing with all other couples, if she's not writing for them. When you break it down like that, as bitter and angry as I am bout this Josh crap, I'm really pretty happy in the grand scheme of things.

I liked today's show overall. I liked the Beauty and Beast reference and actually saw the show on Sunday (again but that's another story). Jacob actually does the voice much better in the show. It's a flawless accent. I assume this was his interpretation of JR doing it (BTW I got to meet him after the show and wow he's one of the nicest guys ever and stayed for awhile to greet all the fans, take pics and sign autographs. Really a class act).

Okay but back to AMC. I thought Cady did a great job but didn't really care for the fact that Dixie doesn't seem to remember she gave birth to her son this day. Not a good way to reassure him that he's special to her etc etc LOL.

Did anyone else think it was weird that Dixie, Adam, & Tad all forgot JR's birthday but Babe remembered?

The Dixie/Tad scenes were powerful. I really felt Tad's anguish and for the first time I felt a little sympathy for Dixie when she broke down and asked David to take her back in time so she could hold her daughter.

I loved Ryan & Zach's knowing glances at each other. Too bad Ryan isn't having the paternity test just to answer the question once and for all. I just hope Spike isn't Madden's spawn.

Shirtless Josh was nice I wish his shorts were a little shorter, though.

Colby's introduction was good.

I'm disappointed by the preview that it looks like there won't be a 4th of July celebration in the park!

VI is being wasted right now. And he has been for some time now. He never interacts with his daughter and his sole focus is Dixie now. I would love to seem him go after Erica again, I adored them together.

I wish VI could go to ATWT and play Craig. He would be perfect if Hunt Block won't come back
