Those drastic swings are nuts. I'm just happy BTG is being competitive and going along for the ride with all the daytime shows.

I'm shocked at how big Thursday was for all the soaps compared to how low they were on Wed and Fri.

As I said elsewhere, B&B gained in BOTH demos yet lost a big 122k viewers overall. What sense does that make? Did a ton of over 55 viewers decide to bail for the week?

Yet on GH, there's a nice overall viewer bump for the week even though the demos are flat/barely up. So now we're supposed to believe the over 55s decided to watch GH for the week.

I know there's a +/- to all of these numbers. I know there's a range. Still, I think it's fair to look for consistency in the numbers, and I don't see it.

Totally agree. I've always thought the Neilson's ratings system from back in the day was flawed... where they mailed a % of people to diary their TV viewing and then assumed the wider population was similar and that's how they determined? Maybe I got some of that wrong, and I know I'm not in the industry to really know all the details... but c'mon, that generally seems flawed to me haha. My family never got the chance to report what we watched, ever.
