I absolutely hate the way this Matt Clark story is developing into as of late. Are they really gonna try to redeem Matt Clark? That’s insulting.. Now he’s living on the ranch? Just a few feet from Sha

In my strong opinion, the Jazz Lounge needs to be kept because it's the NEIL WINTERS Jazz Lounge with his picture on the wall. If they want to move it to another building (out of the GCAC) that's fin

I honestly want to say meh. HOWEVER...

I do respect that since the Holden/Audra backstory was going on before I stopped being a regular watcher, that I now have an idea of what it is thanks to flashbacks.

Darn I missed Lily vs Victoria. Oh well.

And it is sooooooooooo weird seeing the flashbacks to Nate and his hand when I've been picking on GH for weeks about doing just that to Isaiah. Due to it echoing THIS very story. And with black characters, too.

I giggled at the fact that I just finished the Y&R/BTG crossover episodes last night to see Victor turn up safe from there today. At least Abby and Devon got mentioned.

Yeah I’m not a fan of how the stories are being presented right now either. I do remember complaining about how for weeks all that was showcased was the Matt Clark storyline and we had Nick and Sharon on our screens every single day after MONTHS of barely seeing them at all. I stopped caring to see them because they were being overexposed for weeks.

Now it seems like they’re focusing heavily on Patty/Jack&Diane entirely instead of having any balance with other stories. I want to see more Jack and Diane, and Patty for that matter.. but if it’s just gonna be force fed to us every single day all at once, this is gonna get old QUICK.

SH return was such a breath of fresh air compared to her previous stints. It’s too bad that it’s taken this bad turn. No wonder Shyllis mentioned Martin several times recently.

Is the set where Diane is being held a re-use? It feels very familiar - like when Chloe was hiding there.

Diane is far too clever and savvy to let this fool best her.

Yes, I was wracking my brain! I even remember the couch. Was this the Keemo house? Or Aunt Jordan's? It's sooo familiar.

I think it's the general setup of what was used for Jordan's home, minus the staircase, with some other adjustments, and redressed overall to look new.

The flow of today's episode is definitely better than the two previous episodes. Happy we are finally expanding things a bit, like including Cane's and Lily's respective storylines, which helps feel like things are a bit more flushed out. And Stacy Haiduk is still eating as Patty Williams, even if I hate this storyline. Like, absolutely hate.

Stacy Haiduk is much better here than she's been on DAYS, where I now have no use for either Kristen or Susan.

The problem here -- and it's huge -- is that Josh Griffith has written her to be ANOTHER Psycho of the Month character.

None of the story makes sense, and it's written as an arc to last no more than 13 weeks, so none of it will have real impact.

This story with Diane makes me want to scream.

Gotta give Josh credit. Just when you think things can't get any worse, he swoops in with ANOTHER kidnap plot.

And some ridiculous nonsense of Jack pretending to align with Patty.

Awful beyond belief.

This storyline with Jack/Diane/ Patty should be the nail in JG's coffin at Y&R. It's absolutely awful and makes ZERO sense.

I do like Lily & Cane but her turnaround towards Cane is ludicrous and so contrived.

I really liked Holden in the beginning but his "relationship" with Claire is a snoozefest.

And don't get me started on Billy & Sally. I will say the last exchange between Billy & Adam at Society was great TV.

Come on guys, this isn't just another kidnapping storyline! It's got psychology and stuff. It's highly complex intellectual drama. 🤣

Let's see ...

Mariah was kidnapped by Stitch while pregnant with Dominic.

She returned the favor by kidnapping Dominic.

Sharon and Phyllis were kidnapped by Martin.

Jack was kidnapped by Patty/Victor on the boat.

Matt was held captive by Victor.

Jordan was held captive by Victor

Ian/Jordan held the Newmans captive.

And then there were some incidents with Nick being locked in a room.

I'm getting bored trying to recall any more.

It's just shallow, cynical writing dressed up as psychological thriller.

That, and the poorly written business stories.

Josh Griffith is being paid six figures I assume. It's an insult to the viewers.

Maybe Sally McDonald can agitate for change,

Or is it a case that everybody is happy to keep quiet to keep their jobs.
