Bill Bell's best rivalries were all female rivalries. I can't think of the last good female rivalry.

Facts!!! It's part of the reason when said rivals share the screen, the show gets interesting again. Always.

I absolutely hate the way this Matt Clark story is developing into as of late. Are they really gonna try to redeem Matt Clark? That’s insulting.. Now he’s living on the ranch? Just a few feet from Sha

In my strong opinion, the Jazz Lounge needs to be kept because it's the NEIL WINTERS Jazz Lounge with his picture on the wall. If they want to move it to another building (out of the GCAC) that's fin

Another hostage/kidnapped? Rinse and repeat is happening a lot right now. Regardless, I like the temporary set they produced for this storyline. It feels familiar (in a good way). Oh, and Traci is getting involved in this! I love that. Yay for Traci!

Good to see Burrow is still around. I have always liked Matt Cohen; however, this could have been Chance's if he had not been offed. Jere Burns also plays a good creeper.

Not only a kidnapping... it feels like we're about to drug Diane, almost in some of the ways that Nikki was drugged by Jordan.

Honestly... the editing of this episode is real jumpy. It feels like pieces of time are missing just to catch us up on what's going on in the Abbott-centric storyline. The beats of the story are missing.

Which explains why "Something So Right" crashed and burned.

Soap sites sometimes have embedded spoiler pics that contain the JPI episode number within the URL of the photo. There were a couple of pics with last week's episode numbers within their URLs for scenes to air this week. Perhaps those were typos. Or perhaps there were scenes moved to different episodes after the photos were taken. Of course I have no way of knowing.

-- Traci said she knew something was off with the guy sitting with Patty as soon as she saw his face.

Right, Traci, because you were so in tune with the psychopath you were engaged to for months.

-- This Diane kidnapping story is bad from the jump. It's awful. There are more plot holes than I can count, and none of it makes any sense. It just makes me even more disgusted with JG's writing. He repeats his worst hits.

Pretty much all of JG's storylines have been wash, rinse, repeat.

I just hope that the kidnapper doesn't turn out to be Andy Richards.

If that happens, I'm going off the grid.

Like yesterday's episode, today's episode felt very pieced together from scenes that were meant for other episodes. And it is very off-putting. It feels as if Josh Griffith is trying to create those one-off, character-centric episodes he is obsessed with, but instead, he is doing it to primarily focus on the Abbott family post-visit to Fairmont Crest, and it is not landing at all.

Reintroducing both Matt Clark and Patty Williams at the same time is a choice, especially when both serve the same purpose for the Newman and Abbott families, respectively.

I know you're snarking here, LOL. But interestingly, Steven Ford resurfaced last year. On January 9, 2025, Ford read a eulogy at the 2025 state funeral of former President Jimmy Carter, as explained here:
Not long before his own death, President Ford called President Carter and asked if he would deliver a eulogy at Ford’s funeral. Carter agreed so long as Ford returned the favor. Ford wrote the eulogy before his own death in 2006, and it was delivered at Carter’s funeral by Ford’s son Steve.

These bottle episodes are tiring. Suppose I didn't care about Jack, Patti, and Diane—please bring back an ensemble show.

Judge Judy Eye Roll GIF Seriously... what in the absolute frick is going on? C'mon now. Stop this. No way Patty Williams has this much control. Same with Matt Clark.
