This 'woe is me' act Phyllis is putting on does not work. She lost 'it all' because of her nastiness and her self-idealised state of mind.

I think it is brave of Nicholas to admit that he not only needs a meeting but also that he might be feeling up to talking at a meeting, and it's beautiful that he is extending his hand to Nikki about attending the meeting with him. That kind of support is paramount for him in fighting his addictions. F**k, those scenes at the narcotics anonymous meeting were powerful. So powerful. Simple, yet effective. And Joshua Morrow gave an award-worthy performance. I know he's turned off by the Daytime Emmys, but I do hope he gives himself a chance in 2027 by submitting material from this storyline.

I'm happy that Lily was the one to tell Billy that she is running Chancellor Industries again following the return of Newman Enterprises to Victor. I'm glad she isn't re-merging the company with Chancellor-Winters. The concept was cute but the execution of that company was bad. I am not surprised by Billy's response about Cane running the company, especially given their complicated histories.

I'm so happy that Stephanie, now chief of staff of Genoa City Memorial Hospital (GCMH), is bringing up the topic of Nate returning to the medical field where he absolutely belongs.

I am surprised Victor is offering whatever is left of Arabesque Ventures. There has got to be some kind of catch about it. I really do believe that. And oh goodness... I forgot about Matt Clark being on the ranch and essentially becoming Victor's b*tch boy.

I am sure that Josh Griffith is thinking: Delia is so coming back wanting revenge in the future. The story writes itself. A psychotic Mackenzie had her kidnapped.

I'll say this much...Josh Morrow sure does look good in that form-fitting shirt.

But everything Matt Clark is going to go where I put Molly/Cody and Carly/Val on GH...on MUTE.

-- Joshua Morrow was excellent today.

-- Billy has A LOT of nerve passing judgment on Cane or on anyone else. Has anyone been a bigger screw up than Billy Abbott? He has wrecked and ruined every relationship and every company he ever had. Lily should have thrown all of it back in his face.

-- Noah is excited because Danny Romalotti helped behind the bar at his club? THAT was the highlight? I see another Noah club closing on the horizon.

-- So Phyllis wants to take all her ideas and pour them into Arabesque? I guess it doesn't matter what Arabesque does as a company or what goes on there.

A challenge.

Can anyone identify the companies currently operating in GC, who works there and (ha!) what they produce?

Bonus points if you could sketch out the last few years of company/employee history.

I'll have to phone a friend on this one!

-- The Newmans are the Trumps of Genoa City.

Victor is Donald, the demented old man who sits in a chair and doomscrolls all day, doing nothing but planning revenge on all day.

Nikki is Melania, who constantly says she's out the door but never leaves, always willing to put up with crimes and ignorance as long as she can be the doyenne in town.

Nick and Adam are like Eric and Donnie Jr. They know their father is demented and nuts and error-prone, but they put up with it to stay in Daddy's good graces.

Victoria is like Ivanka, agreeing with her father all the time to his face while disappearing if she disagrees.

Abby is like Tiffany. Clueless. The family includes her in nothing, and even if they did, it wouldn't matter.

Does that mean Phyllis is Kathy Griffin? 😅

Don’t get me wrong I am loving this new Phyllis and Sharon friendship but I couldn’t help but take notice today of how boring the writing is for the female rivalries of this show under JG. He does plenty of male rivalries somewhat well but the women are just all holding hands singing kumbaya? We have Victoria and Sally in the park talking about how much they wish eachother well and blah blah blah. Yeah it’s all very sweet but where is the DRAMA? Are we forgetting this is a soap? The Audra and Claire drama is boring again and basically non existent. The only female character bringing anything interesting is Patty with her wanting Diane out of the picture.

The women are far too tame for my liking. I know we are living in different times and women have evolved in the real world but this is still a soap.

Bill Bell's best rivalries were all female rivalries. I can't think of the last good female rivalry.

Sharon vs. Phyllis was good, but that's been overdone. They keep trying it with Diane vs. Nikki vs. Phyllis, but that just feels old and like it's been beaten to death. They're trying it with Audra and Claire, but that just falls flat.
