So I’m on New Years. Should I just skip ahead to April? Is there anything I need to see?

Yes. Unless you are super interested in Stephanie/Alex, Leo/Dmitri, or Rachel and Sophia I can't think of any reason to watch those months.

That's true -- and it tells you everything you need to know about this show.

I'd go on @JAS0N47 's wonderful cast episode charts and just watch the Kate episodes (there are 5 from January - March) and the Vivian episodes (3 of them).

Kelsey Kiriakis.

Not the name that I would've picked for the kid lol but I'm curious to see what's going to happen for all these characters, especially Stephanie, even though I still have mixed feelings about this storyline, and about Jeremy's part in it. I'm looking forward to her scenes tomorrow. Plus, the foreshadowing with Stephanie was really shadowing again today lol the baby is adorable though.

As for Alex and Joy's reunion, I enjoyed it but it was kinda messed up by RSW's acting choices. He tried to squeeze out tears again but looked like he was hurting himself. And I also thought he looked a little uncomfortable holding that baby.

And I'm glad that we got some follow up with Ari and Liam, and that we saw Liam's first day of work at the bookstore. It was nice to Ari put Sophia in her place though. Unfortunately, just like with Alex and Joy's scenes, those scenes were a little messed up by one of the actors in the scene. That crazy wild-eyed look from Rachel Boyd didn't work, even though based on the spoilers, I think that's what she/the writers were going for. I liked that Ari was there for Liam too. And I actually wouldn't mind Gabi being the spoiler for her and Liam, especially now that Gabi knows about Liam's part in the Dimera kidnapping. It's in character for her.

And I still think nuAri is doing a good job though, but she sounds a little like Daphne from B&B 😂😂

Speaking of Gabi, her and Phili's scenes were ok. And Philip looked really hot at the beginning 😍😂

I like them together, but they really need to have Gabi's secret, and Theo's feelings for Gabi really be pushed to the frontburner again. All of that, along with Ari/Liam, the business storylines, etc. need to be tied together much tighter though. Doing that could lead to huge ripple effects across the canvas once these storylines reach their climax.

Chad DiMera, lol.

(Yeah, it's time for DAYS to retire some of their families.)

He can stay, along with Theo and Johnny 😂😂

But I think it’s time for Kristen to go. And honestly, maybe even EJ.

Thank you this is exactly what I will do. I’m so glad you still know I love Kate as much as you.

Not a good episode. Lifeless. John-Paul Lavoisier acting like himself. You know how he’s going to say a line before he says it. Not natural at all. He’s a clown.

Days is so dull. They put a bunch of scenes together and call it a show. I miss the Days when something happened.

So this is probably not an important continuity issue, but Theo said Liam bullied him in high school. Gabi said last week she and Theo have been good friends since high school. So wouldn't Gabi already know Liam from high school and wouldn't they be similar ages? That makes Ari/Liam a little weird with age difference too.
