I suspect they are kind of pivoting on Jacinda because they've realized maybe this dayplayer doesn't have the forever juice - I got that sense back in January. That's the only reason they'd have her end up with Kristina, his sister.

Gotta keep that flavor of the month vibe going!

I liked Sasha and I think they could have had some story with her and Michael, probably to show them trying to be a happy family but neither of their hearts being in it. I would have had a whole mess with Chase/Sasha/Michael/Willow/Brook Lynn (throw in Dante too I guess).

Yeah, I think Michael is being wasted on this stupid "hooker" stuff.

I do like the Danny/Rocco/Charlotte dynamic. Good next generation characters, and the Danny actor is usually better away from the 'scary' adults. He was great today.

I listen to Jeff Lewis and Cameron Mathison has been a regular guest over the last 4-5 months now, which I love. They were recently LOL'ing at him being in the wheelchair, head strapped back and only being able to move his eyes. It was cute. I don't know how far in advance they tape on GH, but it sounds like he's back in the States and filming more often, so hopefully we get more Willow/Drew soon.

SM said it was her choice to leave for whatever reason. Booking a job on DAYS a fews months later does not imply-

1. you are expensive

2. you care about quality

3. you needed some sort of extended break

Yeah, I don't think Sasha needed to last forever, but while you are figuring out a better option for Rory's Michael you may as well use an obvious story where Sasha fits.

It was actually crazy how rushed her exit was as well. She was really right in the middle of the Michael/Willow/Drew story.

It was very strange ending for sure. Michael doesn't even mention Daisy or Sasha ever either. Of course she could have been burnt out on the character or had something personal to address in real life, but Frank gives every else extended breaks lol.

That is absolutely what happened.

I could see Sasha returning for Robert's funeral obviously and for some drama with Willow and returning to the whole Daisy thing, but I wouldn't keep her around longer than a few weeks or a couple months. It would be a plot thing. I'd recast if I had to, I really don't care about the character or actor.

Very.

It's probably all about money. Frank has got to economize somewhere. One way he does it is by getting cheap day players to pair with Michael and Kristina. If ever a contract player leaves, maybe then they'll invest in a strong partner for Michael.

The money saved with Sasha was probably used to bring Nathan back. One blah character for another.

Don't be surprised with Sofia joining Days that GH will recast the role of Sasha very soon. It's something soap opera shows always do each other (separate networks) to generate competition and publicity drama for casting coup.

Sofia doesn't air on Days until next year. I don't think GH has to rush to recast Sasha for publicity hype. The only pressing issue would be Robert's memorial and the show could briefly recast. Honestly, though, for all we know Days will let her do the memorial or she could be done with her stint on Days by the time GH films it. With the way Days tapes she could probably air for a whole year after she's done filming.

Steve Burton and Billy Flynn were airing for months on Days while appearing on other soaps already.

Anyhow, I don't think there is a huge need to recast Sasha anytime soon. I think the show could have used SM's Sasha instead of Jacinda, but what's done is done. Maybe somewhere down the line they well bring Sasha back with Daisy, as I assume we will see Daisy in some form again.

A Llanview reference today! Love it... not sure if GH does this often with that or Pine Valley, but happy to hear those towns are still thought of.
