Thanks @kalbir ! I assume this was the first time a new episode of FC fell out of the Top 30? There were a couple other lower rated episodes though I remember you sharing. Here FC comes dangerously close to being tied with The Colby’s, who had a stronger showing here than I would have expected.
I remember that Golden Girls episode—Blanche oblivious to sexual harassment while didn’t Dorothy get arrested for scalping concert tickets lol? Was a good character building episode for Blanche imo.
Michael Landon wrote and directed both episodes at a time when his personal life was very in chaos and turmoil. The Sylvia episodes definitely have some controversy surrounding them over how dark they were.
That said, give me “Good night John Boy!” over LHOTP all day long lol.
Re: Brady Brides. I feel like this concept worked as a good idea for a TV movie with the Brady Girls Get Married but as a series, eh no. At the time there was renewed interest in TV by way of TV movie—I mean how just how many Gilligan’s Island reunion movies were there with a different actress playing Ginger each time? Of course it wouldn’t be the last time The Brady’s would be attempted to be revived either.
