And just like with the Hope/Carter storyline, I imagine that sooner or later, Ridge will call Katie a slut 😂

Can Bill just hire 2 beefy guys to... surprise Ridge at some corner around Forrester... That pig needs to learn a lesson or two.

Sorry can't side with Brooke if the Logan name was so important why didn't she make sure the trademark was still good?

Plus the Brooke Logan name falls under the Forrester Creations umbrella and like she likes to throw in taylor's face she's BROOKE LOGAN FORRESTER

She was busy stroking Ridge's ego 24/7, 365 days a year. She forgot about everything else. This is a woman who stayed with a man who called her own child a whore and a bitch.

Nothing lower than this in life.

Casey Kasprzyk really said, "One of the first things as EP is to reintroduce a storyline we did before, but with a less than desirable character (Dylan) than before (Dayzee)." The forced dialogue is ridiculous. And Ivy? Traditional? Since when? 🤣

And both Bell and Kasprzyk said, "We didn't get acting awards for 2024, so we need Heather Tom to work so we can get some nominations again!"

I would care a lot more if all of this stuff with Brooke and Katie had been built up for a while, as opposed to having it all, and all the mentions of their past with Bill, come out of nowhere

Btw, since Will has, as I often say, looked hot, for the last four episodes now, I wonder, did Ron Carlivati go to B&B? 😂😂😂

Dec.31 episode of B&B preempted in some areas of Pacific and Mountain timezones in USA, due to CBS football.
It should air normally in Canada on CTV.
It will be uploaded to "cbs.com" and "paramountplus.com"
Per Errol's thread

-- I'm happy about this Brooks vs. Katie stuff, but I fully agree that seeds of Katie still being upset about Brooke stealing Bill should have been planted for months. The truth is that should never have gone away, and we all know it did.

When today's episode opened with "You stole my husband," I cringed. I'm sure it was impossible for the writers to avoid using this, but I don't like portraying Katie as if she's on some revenge tour.

-- Only on B&B can you get a facile, scrubbed up picture of homelessness like we're getting. The Disney-esque PSA with stats thrown in about the homeless are really something. There's no attempt at realism, at least not as far as Dylan's wardrobe and makeup 😂 All we get is "She's been living in a car."

I saw this earlier and hollered.

That’s B&B biggest flaw: plot driven storylines that come out of nowhere, change character for a little while, etc., only for everything to get wrapped up in a few months and go back to normal.

It just feels so lazy to me

It's a blessing and a curse.

Blessing: B&B's ability to wrap a S/L that isn't working, erase it from the canvas and pivot to the next story is unparalleled in the modern soap world - Brooke's alleged drinking problem, Nicole wanting custody, etc.

Curse: Exactly your point - plot driven, no real character evolution that sticks, etc.

That said, I'll take LOGAN v FC fashion battle over anything we've been dished during the past 4 years. It's been awful. KKL is criminally underrated as an actor. When she's part of theses Emmy-bait scenes, KKL has this ability to be equally effective and present without attempting to out-act, out voice or one-up her scene partner. It's a rare skill.

I actually thought today's dialogue with Katie explaining why she suppressed her resentment during the past decade was quite good. It's not a stretch that Brooke forbidding Katie from using LOGAN would cause it all to surface.

For years we've been hearing how the Logans are underappreciated at FC and that they'll never be equals, etc. On the surface, you'd think Brooke would be proud that to have a fashion house named LOGAN. However, this proves what I've always believed - Brooke doesn't want the Logan name out there as a public reminder of her roots. As Katie pointed out, she's Brooke Forrester, it's Brooke's Bedroom, it's BeLieF, etc. She had decades to incorporate the Logan name into one of her lines, but chose not to.
