And we know who's coming back. 😍

I'm going to wait until next week to watch for the gala and the big returns.

By the way, as much as I hate Al's pairing on the show, he should have stayed at Days.

Al has ruined Brilliant Minds for me.

I tried the show, and I didn't like it. I don't know how long the show will last. I'm assuming Al will find another job if Brilliant Minds is cancelled.

-- The Tesoro adoption storyline was one big dud to me. They never made me care about that kid and seeing 6 actors lined up and getting emotional in Horton Square did nothing for me.

-- And Johnny and Chanel just wheeled Tesoro off in the baby carriage? THIS is how adoptions are completed? Jesus.

-- Now Johnny and Chanel can parent in their 8'x10' apartment.

Thank you for remembering that this is a Days thread not a Javi’s doing other thing’s getting cancelled thread.

There was no Tesoro story. Cwikly & Ford made it so boring. There were scenes but unfortunately no story.

Team Abe.

The little subtle digs he was making at Paulina today were unnecessary and just made me want to be on his side even more. We definitely need to see his POV a lot more in this storyline. And even though I liked Roman and Paulina discussing Abe and their shared history with the Dimeras, maybe Roman should have had more scenes with Abe today, that way we would've finally gotten that POV. Or at least let Abe confide in Liam or something, in order to build more tension between him and Theo.

I thought Gabi was used pretty effectively today. Her and Theo did have a little chemistry. Not as much as he had with Arianna, but I think that there's something there. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens. And I liked the way that she comforted Javi too. I like seeing their relationship onscreen, and I thought AC did a better job today than yesterday.

But yeah, Gwen is still not necessary though. But better she be possibly paired with EJ than with Xander. And despite her suspicions about Tony's disappearance, I stand by what I think is going to be revealed at some point in the future.

Yeah, just because Cwikly and Ford are "better" than Carlivati does not mean what their writing is good. I agree completely -- those were scenes and not story. All of it was beyond boring.

And I'm repeating myself, but those Horton Square scenes yesterday were eye-rolling and laughable. The director literally lined up 6 actors side-by-side to recite their lines. It was an "Everyone gets a line" scene. The baby carriage again was the stand-in for Tesoro....but wait! We got very obvious baby shots inserted. So badly done.

NONE of it worked. Greg Rikaart tried and Al Calderon again over-emoted, but I felt nothing for them. I don't care about them or that baby because the show never led me to care.

And yet? I was disappointed and floored that Johnny and Chanel didn't in some way keep the Tesoro name.

Tuned in to see Kate on the November 4 episode. I hope Philip asking Sarah not to tell Kate about Xander is laying the groundwork for an actual storyline.

Is the assumption that Kate—who hasn’t spoken to Sarah in years—is suddenly going to ask whether her ex-husband assaulted her son? What would motivate that?

She hasn’t shown any real curiosity about the assault. There’s been no indication she wants Xander out at Titan either.

So I’m not sure why Philip asked Sarah to keep quiet about that, rather than asking Belle to keep her mouth shut about his hookup with Gabi; especially since Kate’s been openly hostile toward Gabi in the past.

Well tbf, if your son was beaten half to death, wouldn't you want to know who did it? 😉

I wouldn't mind Kate taking on Xander somehow. As much as I like that her and Roman are happy together, she sometimes feels out of her element in the Pub lol that's why I was glad that she went back to Titan.

Yes, but I would've wanted to know four months ago, when it happened.

I'm entertained, I like the performances, and everyone is very easy on the eyes.  That being said, I would yell at my laptop daily, if I didn't record my thoughts here:

Much like Gabi’s conflict with Philip, the stakes feel paper-thin. If she loses GabiChic, she’ll just launch another brand by next month.  She lives in her brother's house, money's not an issue. If Philip dumps her, it’s barely a blip—she’s not in love, she’s in a storyline. There’s no emotional weight, no real fallout. It’s conflict by placeholder.

Then there’s Gwen, who might as well be Stefano’s portrait at this point—always present, never essential. Her primary function is to regurgitate exposition. Nobody likes her (except Jack, bless his delusion). Nobody wants to kiss her. And frankly, I’d rather see EJ scheme with Rita—at least her loyalty isn’t plot-dependent.

That said, Gwen’s scene with EJ about Sami’s return did stick with me. It’s one of those moments where a character suddenly knows things they shouldn’t, purely to move the plot. Gwen arrived in Salem long after Sami left, so her insight into EJ and Sami’s relationship history feels... oddly omniscient. It’s a classic case of the writers using a mouthpiece instead of a character.

And finally—if you can find ten people still invested in Dimitri’s whereabouts, I’ll personally nominate them for sainthood.  Maybe he and Liam are reading better books together?

Agreed. The stakes need to be higher, in a lot of storylines actually.

I'd be invested if Gwen and Leo were gone 😂😂

Here’s another question for you all:

Why are Gwen and EJ so snippy toward each other in private conversations?

I understand keeping up appearances to hide their alliance. But when they’re alone, there’s no reason for the harsh treatment. I can’t recall a single thing one has done to personally wrong the other. Neither is in a position to judge the other’s behavior. And let’s be real—they’re both foreigners in a foreign land. Their shared disdain for most of Salem should be enough to bond them.
