IDK why the Qs are so quick to forgive Ronnie. Tracy was right about everything, Her message would probably be more received if she weren't nasty to Ronnie without properly getting to know her.

TV alert:

Drew Garrett, who played Michael before Chad Duell, had a nice role on Law & Order:SVU last week.

I am actually disgusted with the end of this Monica story today. I especially disliked Olivia and Brook Lynn. The fact that none of them even voiced a slight irritation with Ronnie is just stupid. Also they are laying it on a little thick for poor Ronnie.

The sad thing is

Spoiler

After Tracy talks with Gio on Wednesday I'm sure she will apologize and tge family will return. But she has ZERO to apologize for.

I agree with everyone that stacking the deck against Tracy just makes the rest of the Qs (especially Ned) look like ungrateful simps.

I thought Martin/Laura scenes were well written today. That sibling relationship is suddenly kind of interesting.

Many on this board aren’t fans of Tanisha Harper’s performance, but I thought she was sharp and funny in today’s scenes opposite the always very good Brook Kerr.

I’ve actually never had a problem with her as Jordan ☺️. I thought she was great today. She and Brooke Kerr play amazing rivals. I just loved how she was so taken aback by Portia implying not lying to your husband is an impossible standard 😂

Ned's always been like that, it just isn't as noticeable because he rarely appears now.

Yeah I actually don’t really remember Ned being close with Tracy back when I was watching regularly before my long break. It was a lot of exasperated “Mother”’s from him pretty regularly

Tracy was not a good mother, so I guess I get it, but the whole family piling on just shows how plot-driven and interchangeable the material is, as @titan1978 mentioned above.

I thought it was a great scene, because they each had a point. Jordan is absolutely right to call Portia out on being a compulsive liar. But Portia is right to mention Curtis's "impossible standards" because Curtis is a condescending prick who is just looking for opportunities to tell the women in his life, "I'm so disappointed in you."

It’s not that I expect Ned to be aligned with Tracy, but I do expect him to be skeptical of Ronnie. He’s supposed to be a ruthless corporate executive.

When I was last watching, Portia wasn’t even on the show and Curtis was a I think kinda grayish character I might be misremembering but Shawn was around still too. So for me all I know of Portia and Curtis since I started watching last year, is her constant lying. The first thing I learned about their marriage was that she kept Trina from him for the majority of her life. And then the Heather stuff and Drew blackmail began.

It's obvious Frank explicitly did not want anyone onscreen to turn on Erika Slezak/Viki from OLTL, so Tracy gets the rock again. So disgusting.

This is why I am so, so tired of this creative team.

The last time Donnell bothered to act. He can miss me too. Portia and Trina are the only ones I'd keep, despite the fact that the show clearly hates either Portia, BK or both. She's the only strong actor in the older trio. Isaiah I might let hang doing anything else and see how it goes. He needs to grow his beard out again.

Definitely didn't like the turn the writing took with Tracy. It was so unnecessary, and a bit jarring given how warm and fuzzy the last episode ended and this one began. You think Tracy would be profoundly moved by Monica's gesture and let it sink in for awhile. Instead, she seemed over it in a manner of minutes and reverted to harpy form with Ronnie. Just let Tracy have a nice, warm moment, with growth and understanding; the actress is more than capable of pulling it off.
