I'm just going to keep believing that Adam is Skye's real father LOL.

Same here, lol.

I do like to think she's really Adam's kid too.

It would be so difficult to explain how Skye is really Adam's daughter after all, but if GH could explain how Gio is Dante and BLQ's kid, then I guess anything's possible.

Skye at her big age with her insane personal history acting like an adolescent girl who just found her parents for the first time was grating. Girl, you are 40. What is going on?

I never thought a short stint by Erika Slezak would so turn me off the show but I've barely watched since Tracy's entire family turned their back on her for this stranger. This stranger who agreed to steal their family home because Tracy wasn't nice to her one time.

You had Brook Lynn and Michael saying insane sh!t like "That doesn't sound like Ronnie". It doesn't??? You don't know this lady. The fuuuuck are you talking about?

Tracy will forgive them or rather they will "forgive" Tracy (for being right) but I'm disillusioned, it's all left such a bad taste in my mouth.

THANK YOU!!!!!

IIRC I recall the mags at that time said GH or OLTL or one of the shows hired an unknown soap name as an Althea Chandler recast for a flashback as part of that story. Didn't make it to screen.

I wonder which actress they hired. Whenever I think about Althea Chandler, I always picture someone like Millette Alexander.

Still insane to me that with Anna gone Zombie Nathan is back on the job. "You died in front of us, have been gone seven years, your parents are superterrorists and we have no fúcking idea how you are alive again. Welcome back to the duty roster."

Meanwhile poor Alexa Havins continues to be dressed like a Chinese communist functionary opposite BLQ. I see you, Frank!

No fck that! They then left her because she didn't immediately forgive this random woman! I'd disown all of 'em!

It sucks, but given her history with them, Brook Lynn is the only one that really put me off. Tracy adores her and has done a lot for her.

The story definitely was pointless and a somewhat sour coda to Monica's funeral.

At the very least I might have had Erika pre-tape a few scenes, if she was able - maybe on her way out of town she sees "Nathan" killing someone, he walks toward her, we don't see her again, and everyone in PC just assumes she's started her new life. Then eventually we find out she was held somewhere; she leaves some clues behind and is freed at the end of the story.

The writing for Laura, Lucas and Liz was pitiful today.

Le sigh.

To for the record...as much as I like Skye and @carolineg 's shade at her, I have always considered Skye Adam Chandler's daughter.

I don't think anyone in the GH viewing audience would blink if someone off handedly mentioned Skye found out Adam was her dad. Or if she just dumped her daughter Lila Rae off in PC and Skye wasn't actually involved in story.

I would like to see Lila Rae for sure. But...I don't think anyone would either. lol.

The Laura/ Sonny scenes the last two episodes have been really disappointing. Laura losing it, and Sonny blandly reassuring her. Maurice is giving nothing, and Genie is overacting. Not only have the writers not bothered to tap into the long history between Laura and Sonny, but it's like they've forgotten Laura's long history as well. Like she's never seen a dead body before or been a party to some underhanded shenanigans. She should be suggesting that they plant the body on Sidwell, not whimpering and going along with Sonny's plans to make it disappear.

At this point, Sonny/Laura scenes are best treated as fast-forward material. Maurice also really needs to be put out to pasture.

I would welcome Lila Rae for the Alcazar drama among other things. I'm not sure what age range she'd find into now though (you could age her down if need be). But I'm not sure anyone left remembers she exists. I do wonder if the Ted King rumors a couple years ago had any truth.

I did want to note a great bit last week, when Lulu tearily told Carly she and Dante had made a mistake years ago re: Michael's murder trial. First, they wisely played that history going back like 15 years without doing a Carlivati and explicitly saying in dialogue what storyline they were referring to in the text. People who have watched long enough knew what she was talking about. Alexa was excellent but the look in Laura Wright's eyes was amazing - both a very faint glimmer of that old rage and a lot of old weariness and hurt. It reminded me instantly of that era in 2010, when a deranged Carly made getting revenge on Lulu and Dante her mission in life. Then she said nothing and just hugged Lulu, and it was just very well done.

I'd agree if this was the Laura of the '80s or even when she first returned, but she had a very lengthy mental breakdown in the '00s.

I've never really been wowed by Genie as a dramatic actress, but I guess she's had so little to do for long enough now to where she is chomping at the bit.

I wish they would invoke the Rick trauma or David Hamilton when dealing with this, because that has to be where Laura's mind goes in this situation. But I do think she would handle it better given that history.

Genie can overact at times, but I think she is usually on point these days. But I also rate some of her more 'big' moments much higher than some folks. I loved her very extreme reactions to undead Stavros in 2013 because I thought that was exactly how Laura would react to the return of a zombie rapist, and I loved her howling when she put him back in the deep freeze after she thought he'd killed Lulu (the ending shot for that episode on just her wild eyes through the cryogenic glass was amazing). And I thought she should've won an Emmy for Laura's breakdown in '02. Those scenes with the delusional Laura and Luke's horrific 'wedding' in the attic were amazing.
