November 3Nov 3 Member Great scenes with Eva and Leslie today. Even Leslie is honest about how inconsistent and crazy she is when she said something like she'll tell the truth today, but don't count on tomorrow haha. With all this lead up and slightly boring prep scenes for the Winter Fest, I'm expecting big things! Edited November 3Nov 3 by alwaysAMC

November 3Nov 3 Member Ok that ending - that was Sharon right? I wouldn't buy for a second that Vernon is cheating on Anita with her, like they're suggesting. It's gotta be a Winter Fest surprise they're putting together for Anita, I'm sure.
November 3Nov 3 Member Someone said maybe he's getting voice lessons from Sharon or something like that I STG they better not make Vernon a cheater too, it'd be overkill

He drags down every scene he's in, and he can't play funny, light, romantic, or serious. At this time, he's the worst actor in daytime. It's not the writing. Lol apparently writing makes it impossible for an actor to emote or say his lines unlike an animatronic 😂.

November 3Nov 3 Member I think Vernon is planning a surprise for Anita and that's why he's meeting with Sharon. Naomi is such a bitch I think TMG is approaching how to play SPS based on who she's interacting with. She came across more sincere and a bit more subtle with Jan because they're peers and both have been in the same boat in regards to single parenthood while she plays her emotions more intense with Eva because that's her daughter and wants her to have a father (hopefully her real life father). Ashley/Derek - MVJ.. break them up. The tweaking should be keeping the two apart and move them into different orbits.. or have them go off into the sunset (I would love to see what the show bible proposed for both of these characters since they were heavily featured the first week of the show... they were the secondary focus of that week after Hayley/Dani/Bill with just hints of SPS plot with Ted and Vanessa/Doug/Randy were briefly touched on).

Opinions will always differ as well they should, but I just don't find this young man to be nowhere near as bad as people are making him out to be. Bad writing can certainly do a number on those who are supposed to be a lot more seasoned though. Just ask her.......... Edited November 3Nov 3 by Vanguardian53
November 3Nov 3 Member I'm going to need set decorators to do a better job on this show. The Dupree foyer and living room set is nice, but all of a sudden it's looking cluttered and messy. There are tables EVERYWHERE.

Or anyone who's worse than Alex Alegria? 1 hour ago, Vanguardian53 said: Lol. If you don't like her performance, it's on her, not on the writing. She has made specific choices for that character, none of them dictated by the writing. I'm on record that I now enjoy CM's accent and tics and over-the-top camp -- after disliking it for months. It's ridiculous, but it's also entertaining and so much fun to watch.

November 4Nov 4 Member The fact that someone of Cady's acting caliber would even accept such a clownish role to begin with is even more laughable. But alas..........

In a discussion of "bad actors on daytime," Cady McClain is your go-to? I think her performance is an acquired taste. I can understand not liking it, because I was one of those people. Still, even when I didn't enjoy it, I never thought of her as a "bad actor." I just had problems with her take. But we're not getting a take from AA. Every scene, every emotion, is the same. He hurts every scene he's in.
