There's a fitting irony that for Bill Bell's daughter's wedding episodes, we get one of his great naming conventions to return.  We may no longer call her Cricket, but she will have rhyming attendants in Nina and Gina.  Which, to me, is very Bill Bell coded, (i.e. four L's in a quad, Lorie, Lance, Leslie, Lucas).  Snapper, Ridge, Thorne, the guy had a flair for character naming.

Patty came back for the 50th Anniversary shows.

Killing off Chance was pointless. Connor Floyd was fine. Josh put him in a suit to involve in the corporate trash but there was no real effort with the character.

I guess they can easily say the death was faked and come up with some nonsensical reason why.

Damian, who oozed chemistry (even with Lily!) and Chance's deaths with little mourning at all at the hands of the Robot... Uggghh and the fact that Amy and Traci are seeing each other offscreen.   Grrr.  i want to see Nina slap the S**t out of Cane and spit on him...

 

Patty Weaver looks great.

It's a bummer that Nina won't be able to act as excited about the wedding because she's in mourning for this pointless and forgettable murder scene that had zero stakes.

I’d be pissed as an actress if I played the character of Nina for all these years and I can’t even return to mourn my own sons death but they bring me back for this nepo baby b*tches wedding.

Would you really?  Or would you be grateful to see old friends after 30 years, when you probably didn't follow the show, or your character's sons, and happy to have a check, and maintain your SAG health insurance for four hours of work?

These are middle-aged actresses with long careers, not eager fan girls wishing for one more chance at a daytime emmy.
