So, Jeremy and Jada's first date was at the Pub? Ok. 😂😂😂

But I did see a little chemistry between them, even though Jada deciding to leave the date out of respect for Stephanie does make sense to me. The way Michael Roark's been playing it makes me believe that Jeremy actually is reformed. I liked how their scenes were juxtaposed against Stephanie and Alex talking about her past with Jeremy, and that time in the hot tub lol and we got a mention of Robin and Stephanie's past as a race car driver.

Btw, congratulations Aaron!

I still don't see why they couldn't have had Sophia confess to him and everybody that he was the father of the baby, but whatevs. Louis Tomeo actually played the shocked, scared teen pretty well in those scenes. He still needs some work lol but I thought he showed a lot of improvement today. And I liked the way that Cat comforted Aaron.

But the rest of Aaron's scenes were completely stupid and unnecessary though and did not fit with his earlier scenes at all. It almost felt like two different episodes were combined. Leo's annoying, Ron-like, friend did not need to make a comeback either. 🤮

Days is always going on and on about the budget but they have the money for that nonsense?

Interestingly, I felt the same way about EJ's scenes. His first scenes with Amy were really good. He came off as really honest and sincere as he tried to get Amy to coming around about Johnny and Chanel adopting Tesoro. But his later scenes with Cat felt unnecessary as well. It was weird that that happened twice today.

Johnny and Chanel were sweet too. I liked the way they were there for each other regarding the baby. And, Johnny looked hot at the end 😍😂😂

Are you sure Jeremy is actually reformed? It doesn't seem like it to me. He appears to still be having some serious anger issues. I'm worried that he's going to turn out to be another Nick and they're going to kill him off in about six months when he gets into a deadly altercation with Stephanie and then it winds up with another murder mystery. Even worse since this is Mike's only child. I mean, unless it's going to turn out that Liam is actually Mike's kid after all...

What a relief that Suzanne Rogers is going to be alright, and long may Maggie stay put in Salem for years to come, with that beautiful head of hair in tact.

image.pngI'm off to write my fanfic of Maggie taking a few months off to go to a lab and create the MAGI-wrap 5000, a newfangled dryer to give hair more volume as it dries.  It saves Titan (now re-named and feminized as Titian), and Maggie is finally credited for ingenuity.

😂

I reallllllly hope Jeremy is reformed. The actor is such a natural fit on the show and is more eye candy to boot. Plus, we needed more Hortons.

I encourage everyone to read the story from TVinsider, it is so endearing.

And I teared up reading this sweet passage:

  • Rogers notes that she will look the same when Maggie is back on screen. “I didn’t lose my hair,” she discloses. “I guess because I was taking the chemo pills. I’m sure there’ll be people that are saying, ‘Well, she didn’t really have cancer,’ but you know what? I really don’t care what people say. I know what I’ve gone through and I’ve come out on the other side, so that’s all I care about.”

I cannot imagine having to consider that people might think she was faking symptoms.  The internet is a horror show when it comes to subjects like this.  I'm happy she was able to control the narrative (even if the list of co-stars she informed of her diagnosis was a bit of a juicy topic).

I'm so glad she's okay! I met her once at a conference about 12 or 13 years ago. She was so sweet and really took time to talk to me for a few minutes and take multiple pictures. I'll always be a Maggie fan after that.

I had lunch with Paul Telfer on Saturday. He said this story was about to break but she was fine now (he did not say who but it was an easy guess). He was out to dinner with her last week with Linsey, her daughter and Ashley (Holly) and said all was good.

Has anyone looked for the episode where Jeremy held Stephanie’s head under water? I would like to watch the episode to see but I can’t locate it.

I thought today’s episode was good but a missed opportunity with the tour guide. I would have loved seeing them go inside the DiMera crypt.and mentioning the lady in white Lol ..also I thought Jeremy smashing the pumpkin should have been at the very end of the episode. With more pumpkin guts.
Oh well. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

image.pngThis is a silly detail, but I knimage.pngew it the second I saw it.  Cat's apartment is the same set/back wall as the hotel room in Paris where Mark shot Chad.  Or at least they use the same corner molding and swapped the door for a window seat.   I hope Mark doesn't get flashbacks. 😉

Cat's apartment is the same set Allie/Chanel, Tripp/Wendy/Li, Ava, etc lived in.  It was Eric/Nicole's apartment first and Sonny/Will lived their for a time.  While they may reuse set features it's the exact same layout that was used when Connie killed Li Shin.  The same apartment has been used multiple times it just changed occupants.

I won't go into any details about the episode because between thinking about how far in advance they have to buy costumes for Leo (one doubts there were pumpkin sweaters in stores when they shot this), and the Greene's Parisian pied-à-terre, I was distracted.

So, I'll skip any obvious objections to why Leo would go on a tour of haunted places (with a baby) after he has lived in Salem for years.

But, the last time we saw Cat and EJ, the Wuthering Heights reference were very heavy-handed (e.g. EJ carrying a copy).  Yet, today, there was really no direct reference to the book.  I guess we could extract the adoption of Tesoro as an abstraction of Kathy's choice to allow Heathcliff to be known as the father of her child.  But, it doesn't make Cat beholden to EJ, like Kathy was to Heathcliff, in any way, so far.

Are the books a thing?  Is anyone else focusing on them?

Maybe if Ron Carlivati was still writing 😂

So do I.

There's so much that they can do with this character, and I'd hate to see them waste such a good opportunity for conflict. Stephanie and Alex are still kinda boring, and I'm hoping that this'll be the catalyst for something interesting to happen for them.

Today’s episode was really good except for Leo / Aaron / Adam and that stupid tour.

The episode was going so well and than that Adam/tour crap totally killed the momentum. I can't wait for the mistakes like that to finally be over.
