Any reason Don Craig (Jed Allen) wasn’t mentioned by Dee? Come on! 😅

I've noticed she rarely mentions Don.  Sometimes she talks about DJ's crib death, but I think she feels like it was too long ago and not relevant.  More people care about Roman/John?  I've never seen any indication her and Jed had issues, so it's probably timelier to mention Drake and Wayne more than anything else.

The Don erasure is sad though lol.

60 YEARS OF "DAYS"...ONLY 2 EPISODES EVER FEATURED ALL 5 HORTON CHILDREN...

Addie left in 1966 before Tommy showed up in 1967. Addie returned on 4/19/71. However Marie was only in 3 more episodes in 1971 and then not back until 5/9/73.  But all 5 characters were in the 5/3/71 episode and during Marie's Christmas visit on 12/23/71. Marie's return on 5/9/73 marked Tommy's last episode until 1975, after Addie had died.

So, throughout the 60-year history of Days, there were only 2 episodes ever to feature all 5 Horton children in the same episode, 5/3/71 and 12/23/71. Tom and Alice were also in both of these episodes.

1385...5/3/71:
Cast: Tom, Alice, Mickey, Bill, Marie, Tommy, Addie.
Sets: Horton Kitchen, Horton Living Room, Four Partial/Limbo Sets (for Tom's 4 phone calls to Mickey/Bill/Tommy/Marie).

1545...12/23/71:
Cast: Tom, Alice, Mickey, Bill, Laura, Marie, Tommy, Addie, Sandy, Mike.
Sets: Horton Living Room & Hallway, Tom's Study, Horton Kitchen.

That's kinda crazy, only 2 episodes in its entire run. Thanks for that nugget of info :)

But, God forbid, any of the three main ladies (Julie, Malena, Maggie) are ill or have to leave the show for whatever reasons, who leads?  Ari Zucker and Ali Sweeney are long gone.    Christie Clark left acting.  So who is the next person in line?  Belle has failed for years, so Stephanie?  Maybe Godfrey's Sarah? That's a bleak outlook.

Oy, that's kinda bleak. I think they'd be able to bring back Kristian Alfonso, with or without Reckell.

Hope is probably one of my least favorite heroines ever.  And the show was really never able to utilize her without Bo.   It was one dud of a story after another.

If it gets to that point I hope they might consider working out something with Christie Clark - she wouldn't have to be big on the show, just be around. She's a warm presence and Carrie is not tainted by as many horrible stories or difficult pairings as many others of her era.

I still think they missed a trick not having Lisa Trusel around more often - not leading story but at least as a recurring figure.

In the early days of DOOL, did Tom Horton see patients in his home?  I recall reading somewhere that he had a medical practice (office and examining room) located on the first-floor of the Horton house.  If that is true, how long did that last, before they moved all the medical stuff to the hospital?

I would kill to have Christie back on a regular basis but isn't she largely retired from acting at this point? They wasted their shot in the 2010s.

I love Lisa Trusel, it would be great to have Melissa pop in several times a year.

Yes. That's why I said she could just be around or pop up. She wouldn't really need to drive story. She could come in and out like Jennifer does.

I am pretty sure Christie lives in England and isn't pursuing acting, except for important Days stints.  I haven't seen her do an outside project in years.

I think that would be good, though I would try to get her to hang around a bit more than Jennifer lol. It is too bad, I thought there was real opportunity in her last contract return.

I do remember thinking she and Rafe had chemistry (I think I did - I don't know now). There was a lot they could have tried.

I didn't realize she lives in England so you're all probably right that it's not likely to happen.

That whole Carrie thing was probably the only thing that could ever interest me in Rafe lol. I gave it a chance but it didn't go anywhere.

If DAYS was able to block-tape the same way GH does certain guests (like Emma Samms) you might be able to spread the wealth around re: Christie visiting over a long stretch of time to give the impression of Carrie having moved back home. But they have enough taping issues as is.

At this point, the best way to have Carrie at least visit sometimes would be to introduce Noah.

Have him transfer to Salem U, and Carrie can help him get assimilated for a little while. He could live with Roman and Kate. And, he could also be put in a triangle with Holly/Tate 😂
