And still no MA/Thomas? Ugh. He's really the most interesting character and the only one I'd like to see back full-time. That actor was a fan-favorite, voted favorite actor by CBS and SOD viewers in 2023. Even now when he is off-canvas, Thope keeps getting more votes than Lope and Cope whenever a poll is posted on social medias, that should give Bell a clue. What was the purpose of this short-lived return? He only had a few scenes with Bridge and didn't even interact with Hope.

This Luna show is just awful. I despise her but the problem is everyone looks almost as bad in this story. I can not condone all this violence and abuse against an innocent baby. Electra should put the safety of the baby above her hatred against Luna. Will is just a dull sex-obsessed horny fool, and nothing excuses his silence. The other characters are just vile, two-faced hypocrites. No one bothered to tell Finn or Poppy that their child is alive. They are ALL lying to Steffy and Liam, Luna's biggest victims. I cannot take Finn seriously given that he is the one who told Luna about her paternity and gave her everything she wanted, now he's lying to his wife. In my book Li is as bad if not worse than Grace and Reese. She faked a death, hid a fugitive from the police and told Luna's parents she is dead. Bill is the one who got that lunatic out of jail and mistreated his boys so he has zero credibility in this story.  Frankly, there is no one to root for. 

The worst part is, this is the only ongoing story. There is nothing else to hang onto for viewers who dislike this storyline. Lope/Cope isn't even a real triangle, both couples look trash and they just get crumbs here and there. Remy/Deke are just there to prop Luna, I doubt their romance is going anywhere. Bridge/Tridge is hopefully done and over and never revisted.

It was nice seeing Deke again, but him being Deacon's sounding board was boring. Why isn't he more freaked out about his dad's marriage to Sheila? We know he'll freak out when he finds out about his boy toy's past.

I agree. They wrote Deke as too laid back about his dad's marriage to the town psycho -- or one of them. That conversation could at least have been one that made Deacon's text for a psych appointment asap make sense.

I caught some of the show for the first time in weeks today while home sick.

I think there have been so many missed opportunities with Deke (not surprising with this show). He hadn't been referenced in YEARS before popping up. He should have come back with a grudge against Deacon for not being there for him and meeting Hope for the first time. So many story beats could have been played. Again, ChatGPT could write this show better.

Don't even get me started on this Luna mess. It's offensive and downright cartoonish all at the same time. Where do they even go from here, and why would we care? They should have simply had Luna be a bad girl BUT NOT A PSYCHO MURDERER. Then, they could have kept her long-term as the actress, despite this horrible material, plays bad girl well. But, they've written her into an impossible corner at this point. Why Baker didn't arrest her as soon as he saw her was....well...so stupid.

I feel like the show has really entered the stage of being a parody of a soap versus a soap like Passions did. It's like it's turned into a SNL parody, like The Californians.

Their costume design head needs to be replaced. I would love to see Glenda Maddox return, who was the costumer from 2015 to 2021.
