Especially since Zach Tinker made it known the last time he was there he did not feel like he would be welcomed back, nor that they had an actual direction for the character.

Yeah I agree completely with you. He was super dull and unimpressive to me. And on a show as lifeless as Y&R I have zero hope.

A Fen and Noah pairing would be a smart plot/storyline twist, IMO. Plays into legacy and gives multiple characters something to do. It won't happen for that very reason, though.

I always believed Fen being jealous of that guy Summer was crazy for was not because he liked Summer but because he liked the guy.

Rewrite or not, they have never truly done anything with either character. Having Fen and Noah hook up, date, marry, or whatever, gives a story for Sharon, Nicholas, Lauren, Michael, Gloria, Kevin, Chloe, Nikki, Victor, Phyllis, Summer, Mariah, Tessa, and so many others, and it wouldn't be something told during an anniversary episode.

Noah has been a wasted character for years. So has Fen.

And a person’s sexuality can evolve. Tired of these shows’ essentialism. I’m still pissed the show didn’t go there with Kyle and Theo, making them cousins instead. (It’s still insulting how this show has treated M2M sexuality, going back to Adam/Rafe, P3 faking his death because he was gay, and that drive-by coming out from Fen.)

I don’t really need Noah to be gay. We have Mariah, and if we brought back Fen that would be another opportunity for a gay storyline.i just don’t understand why we can’t expand further on all these young characters and bring up the new generation to carry this show. We can’t rely on Victor, Phyllis, Nick, Sharon, Adam, Jack etc to push storyline forever on this show (as much as I love my vets and always will want them to be apart of it in some capacity). 

I was indifferent to this recast, but seeing how annoying Robert Adamson has been on Insta since Charlie Kirk's shooting, I'm at least happy he wasn't brought back.
