Have Anna and Tony been in a single scene together since their return this past spring/summer?

I can't get over how bad the dialogue is lately.  I don't have high expectations but this is extra cringe.

The baby story is interesting, if totally illogical.  The problem is it hinges on Leo Howard and Rachel Boyd to carry the emotional weight of the plot and neither are terribly strong.  LH at least seems like a real human, but Boyd is the center of the story and is one of the worst actresses I have ever seen on tv.  It's a shame because both Holly and Ari are played by much better actors.   Madeline Kientz was miles better as well, and I wish the show had taken more time to recast Sophia.

It seems like Johnny and Chanel will get the baby anyway so this feels like a time suck of a story where the ending is the same outcome.

I don't think so

Weren't Tony and Anna discussing Stefano possibly being alive in the summer?  That was an entire episode of them talking in the Dimera living room, IIRC.

Sure, they have.  They had a scene in the living room a few weeks ago with Susan.

The baby story is OK, but for me the Leo/Javi stuff is a complete miss.

We never see a real baby or even a baby doll. It's that constant camera angle behind the stroller, and I don't know how we're supposed to believe those guys are attached to Tesaro.

Likewise for Javi's completely off-camera baby story. None of it works.

Thanks for the reminder about Tony and Anna. It’s seemed weird that they’ve mostly been in separate episodes.

F*ck off, Gabi.

Even though it was totally in character for her not to accept JJ's apology. I hope this isn't the end for them though. JJ and Gabi were always good together and I still think that there's a lot they can do with them as a couple. The acting was pretty good in their scenes as well. Between their scenes and whatever's going to happen with Theo, hopefully this means that JJ/Casey Moss will be used more.

Speaking of Theo, I don't mind that they seem to be taking the character in a darker direction but I really think they needed to better establish the reasons why. All the times that Theo made those short visits to Salem, we never got the impression that he was bitter at JJ or had PTSD or anything. His explanation to Jada seemed a little random and too convenient for the plot. If anything, his bitterness should have been triggered by Claire cheating (which should have brought Claire back to Salem as well) Or even triggered by what Ben and Ciara did to him, which was also pretty f*cked up. NuTheo did a pretty good job too.

I also enjoyed Philip/Xander vs. Tony. I liked seeing them go head to head. Hopefully, they don't accept Tony's offer and this all leads to a court battle for both businesses. I also wouldn't mind Brady playing a part in the business storyline either, even though they do seem to be stretching him a little thin lately. His scenes with Gabi provided us with a really good understanding of why he's doing what he's doing, and I really like that.

And now that Alex and Stephanie made up after that fight, hopefully, the cliffhanger means that this isn't the end of the conflict for them.

No way do they sell Titan with the whole John legacy chat. In court they could definitely keep Titan given Xander didn't know. Tony is getting evil edit. Weird we never see him and Anna together

Just for context, she's the editor and head of Titan Publishing (I know you meant it as a joke, but just in case you were actually wondering).

Now, why it happened in the middle of the square?  Because there are no actual streets in Salem, unless you are going to have a car accident.  😉
