Would Clifton want to leave the front burner barely have to remember lines because it’s the same [!@#$%^&*] over and over cushiness of his Bold job?

Nope. But you have to try.

I remember an insane rumor in the 2000s that Zander Smith would turn out to be Mikey Webber lol. But he and poor little David Mendenhall (who was a good actor!) were a fan punchline for so long that I think they just have never gone there, in addition to the Webber clan being largely forgotten for many years.

I have thought before about bringing on, say, Rick Jr. to sort of fill the hunky doctor mold his father and uncle once did. But never thought of Mike, really. It would make sense for Laura to hold a reunion and have him just make an appearance someday. Maybe for Lesley's memorial.

Oh, I would like that. I wonder about GH doing another memorial/tribute to a deceased actor, soon after Leslie Charleson's death. Maybe TPTB will just put off doing anything about Denise Alexander's passing for a while. We'll see. Mike showing up to say goodbye to Lesley would be quite touching, however.

It's an impossible dream, I know, but I wish we could at least get a telephone-voice recording of Rachel Ames as Audrey as well.

Events on soaps are always better in our dreams.🥺

Omg the way she read Willow down was EVERYTHING and such a long time coming. You could tell she had FINALLY had enough of her dimwit daughter.

It really was. So very, very long. I had to rewind for seconds AND thirds it was that good. And when CW got that bass in her voice. Oooo lord. I was surprised no one got slapped.

He'd never leave BB. Bradley wouldn't let his son go.

Hire the himbo😂😍

He sucks, so no. I'm sure he'll live on in the picture threads I don't read.

Portia is absolutely ridiculous. She’s jealous of Curtis and Jordan who haven’t even so much as kissed while she’s banged Isaiah TWICE now one of which was in her office right after Curtis left to check on his aunt. We’re obviously not supposed to root for her right?

I have really loved the focus of Monica’s death being on Jason and Tracy. Steve is absolutely selling the [!@#$%^&*] out of this. You can almost forgive him for the years he refused to even entertain reintegrating with the Jason Quartermaine memories. Loved hearing that Jason moved back in not just for the kids but for him too.

Lol Drew said Monica treated him like a son until…and then he blamed Tracy and Michael not himself sleeping with Michael’s wife. I really thought Jordan’s words may have impacted him but I genuinely think Drew likes being an asshol.e too much now.

Note: nobody ever advocates for the return of Audrey's grandnephew Jeremy Logan (slightly more mawkish than Mike, and much less adorable).😉

Whatever became of Mike Phelan Webber, whom Rick took in during the 1980s? Did Laura consider Mike her brother after Rick and Lesley adopted him?

The way she was acting today I almost want Curtis to point the cops at her.

The actor David Mendenhall still looks like Mike

He was such a good crier that he was constantly cast in traumatic parts.

I remember on GH when they shot that old man in the ally (Packy?), and they had Mike crying over the body for a full two episodes before they took the actor playing the dead guy away.  I found it annoying as a kid myself, but now I think of how difficult that must have been for a little boy, on the set of GH, in the early 1980s.  🙈

Well, she's already lost a man to Jordan before so...it tracks.

If there was one thing David Mendenhall was gonna do in an '80s TV show or movie it was cry his heart out. He was a good actor usually cast in very annoying roles lol.

I wouldn't hate seeing him for Lesley's memorial at all. But I would bring on Rick Jr. someday.

Actually, I was thinking of him today, when considering other legacy characters who could potentially return. Seeing Jeremy and Anne Logan at Audrey's send-off would be appropriate.
