Plus it would have given the suspects more time to mess up their alibis and look suspicious in general.

I did like Portia handling the body shot woman with tact and not hand wringing the whole time. If they let her lean into her edge instead of always falling apart and seeming to make choices in a panic, I would enjoy it more. Let her feel some control and power without feeling bad about it. That would lead to natural conflict with Trina when she finds out her mother isn’t always acting for other people, she’s equally capable of being selfish and tired of being under anyone’s thumb.

We have a good thing with Drew. I think what I also want is someone to do Marland era Barbara Ryan. Sick of being a victim and fundamentally privileged and a little spoiled, and she goes full bitch to get what she wants. It doesn’t have to be a man either! Sasha would have worked well here.

That is Willow, I suppose.

To be honest, I think the show did a better job with the turn in Willow than Marland did with Barbara, where it came heavy and hard and then had to be toned down. I don't know if they will keep it though.

It's definitely Willow. Her turn mirrors Barbara, Susan Moore, Diane Ballard on GL (although I suppose Diane was always a bit spikier I think), etc. And KMM can play the instability and rage to the hilt. Which is why I think they're both full of promise now.

I admit that this Curtis/Portia argument is another good verbal knockout, drag-out. And they are acting. I just continue to be perplexed by how Isaish has turned on Jordan so completely like an obsessed man. I kept thinking that perhaps it's because I missed those episodes on my recorder where he turned against her. And as soon as I typed that, here he comes referencing what could have been with Jordan.

Perhaps it's the setting and the young age, but Mauro's kinda giving a little bit of a young Nikolas.

I am glad that they are referencing Charlotte's relationship with Nina and are preparing for them to have scenes together.  Charlotte and Nina have had a real scene drought in recent years.

I really liked when Charlotte told Rocco that she "totally got where he was coming from" with regards to wanting to know about Britt.  It seemed to be laying the groundwork for her to make reference to Claudette.  Charlotte actually remembers Claudette and being her daughter for all those years.  That should be part of her story, and her identity.

It would also be good to have scenes with Charlotte and Willow that reference their history together, and how ironic it is that Willow turned out to be Nina's daughter.  Harkening back to that chapter, with Willow, Charlotte and Aiden, would be interesting, especially if they are going to move forward with a story of Charlotte as a troubled teen.

I hated that Charlotte never had any scenes with Nicholas Chavez's Spencer.  The two of them had a lot of history together that could have been alluded to, even if it needed to be tweaked to account for SORASing.

So far, I like this recast a lot, and I say that in spite of the fact that I didn't dislike Scarlett Fernandez the way many on this site seemed to.  I think that the time had come for the part to evolve, and be picked up by a more mature actor, kind of like when Nicolas Bechtel gave way to Nicholas Chavez.

It was terrific when the show had Emma talking to Danny and Rocco about her history with Britt.  I had been expecting GH to totally ignore that part of Britt's past and treat Emma like a non-issue and a person of no significance to her.  That expectation was based on the way the show completely ignored Emma's history with Spencer for the longest time, until we finally got a single allusion to it.  They still haven't had her talk about Spencer with Trina, even though you would think that Spencer (or at least Jocelyn) would have mentioned his years-long super crush to Trina at some point.

Speaking of Spencer, it is kind of amazing that Britt hasn't mentioned his death to Jason yet.  I find it hard to believe that even this writing team could justify downplaying their relationship or how important they were to each other.  I suppose it is possible that Britt doesn't know about Spencer dying, but that seems unlikely given that she has been checking up on people's social media and she appeared to know that Jason was alive, even if she wasn't clear on how he survived.

Who is Mauro?

I am so tired of seeing Infomercial Molly in this goddamn eczema cream ad with this sailor suit top. Just putting it out there.

Nice girl but spent character.
