I don't think they have been forgotten. They just fulfilled their function. Regina and June reconciled, Regina discovered the kids were alive and facilitated that reunion. Done.

Peaches also technically filled her role in story but I still would love to see much more of her, preferably played by an actress over 50 as opposed to a 30 year old wearing a granny wig from a high school play. There is a rich background there with Peaches and Leslie that they just sped through, presumably because they feared their new TikTok audience would stop watching if they didn't get to the point (Leslie's inheritance).

I like Andre's crazy outfits tbh. They just make me laugh. I wouldn't want it to change at this point. It's just weird to see him rocking these fits and then he just... shows up to mope over Ashley some more. He should be doing wilder stuff on canvas.

A place Joey has frequented!

I think we were cheated out of an Anita/Peaches reunion. She should have been involved in the reveal and legitimized Leslie's claims. Instead we had some random scene of her flirting with Ted. Peaches was Barbara's best friend and grew up in the same neighborhood so i think they owed us some scenes of the two connecting

Yeah, I don't want his style to change either. Show up at the hospital in your leather to see Basic, Andre!

Seriously, count me in on him doing wilder stuff on canvas. This show longs for that. Make him a real fcukboi.

It’s amazing how much he’s described as this playboy and all he’s ever actually been portrayed as is a mopey sad sack for Ashley and Dani’s boy toy. I guess with most of the women on canvas either being his blood cousins or Duprees it limits things, but I dunno have some damn cute extras at Uptown or some [!@#$%^&*] for him to have one night stands with.

I dont see how not. The Articuellte four were tight at one time and grew up together. Peaches was Barbs' best friend and also grew up with her. She may not have been Anita's friend but its hard to imagine they wouldnt have met at some point before the group went big

The only reason we know Andre is a playboy/casanova is we're constantly being TOLD he is.  We've never seen it.

If MVJ had asked my advice (fortunately she didn't), I would have suggested introducing him in February by having a semi-comical "revolving door" of random sluts in & out of his apartment.  Ultimately, he would go to Garland to be treated for an STD, and Nurse Ashley would give him a lecture about safe sex and about monogamy.  It would've then been organic for the audience to see the attraction between the two characters --- he's drawn to her compassionate, caring advice about how to live a "cleaner" life, and she's attracted to his more devil-may-care outlook.

As it is, he's got no reason to like her, she's got no reason to like him, and he doesn't appear to be the fcukboy he's described in the dialogue as being.

I really don't think the show thought this out themselves since Peaches was pretty much a three episode plot device.

To be fair, the only time he showed a hint of playboy was Week 1/2 and then his date with Ashley that Dani crashed. He totally came across like a playboy...and I've mostly disliked him and got off the Dani/Andre wagon because of it. Otherwise, I agree he gets more show than tell.

None. That's the one thing I don't like (okay the main thing) with Ashley and Andre. It was at least established they have a history of friendship but they haven't seen each other in two years cuz he was jetsetting while she was entering her relationship with Derek. It would have been nice if they developed the friendship more (better?) than what they showed so I could understand what Andre sees of Ashley. Well, at first they showed it on Andre's side of that 'childhood friend' crushing. But I don't feel like that was developed from Ashley.

YOu are just now learning of Charity Rahmer? You missed out for sure. lol. I remember the tale in real time, too, it was so bad all over soap fandom.

I love Randy, but I feel the same way.

They should have the flexibility to set up a mini set for this type of thing-all they need is a wall and a booth to suggest a different meeting place.

They seemed to use Ted's hotel room redecorated for the Kat/Tomas scenes-which worked b/c it was obviously the same hotel.

As for June, if she had have got a job as a kitchen hand or  something like that at Orphey's that would have made more sense. Something where she wouldn't be dealing with people and taking orders etc. She still could have messed up by dropping dishes or clearing tables of a diner who hadn't finished etc.

I thougt today's episode was better. More natural dialogue. Even Tomas seemed better today.

Is the Randy/Hayley connection going to be followed up?

    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?

    • Thanks for asking that!  Back when we had another major event upcoming (a party or the concert), I had intended to ask what everyone here was planning to wear.
