Lovely; I was watching today's episode and it just got interrupted by a stupid special news report about Charlie Kirk right as I was watching a Ted/Leslie scene. Ugh, hopefully it doesn't last for the whole episode.

-- I don't mind breaking news. But about 45 minutes to repeat the same information over and over? This is nothing but ass kissing the Trump administration.

-- I have no problem with Samantha wanting to talk to June. The problem is making boys and sex the reason for wanting those talks.

-- I know we caught only the beginning and end of the show, but June is being written like a cartoon.

Ted only succeeds in making Leslie go further down the war path. I thought she was going to steal his underwear, but it was only his tie.

Tyrell is such a bully when it comes to Samantha seeing June. After he brought a strange, grown man into their home he has no room to judge anyone on who is a good choice to be in contact with.

Yikes Ted really screwed this up.

Haha he's cute!  I didn't realize the fans had a name already - GateKeepers! I love it.

It was a pretty funny spot where they interrupted it - right at 'round 2' LOL.  I'll have to watch the rest on Paramount later tonight.

-- The pacing for June Works At Orphey Gene's is absurd. She starts work one day -- with no supervision and no one watching her -- followed by her getting fired on Day One by a boss who appears out of nowhere. Then she gets her job back because a customer vouched for her. Why rush all of this?

-- I had to laugh when Jacob said Orphey Gene's is "high volume" and that table turnover was crucial. We do see extras at OG's that make it seem like a real place, but I don't see this high volume they're talking about.

-- Samantha wants to know when June had her first period? OK then.

-- Once again, we're led to believe Leslie has unlimited resources. Now she's going to dedicate and build at the country club? Are you kidding me with this? We'd better hear that Leslie doesn't have anywhere NEAR the amount of money she's spending.

-- Leslie's plans are all at warp speed, too. Terrible pacing.

Yep. No confusion there.

And like I said...clearly Ted is the straight man to Silk Press Sheila's wackiness. Yeeeah NO. I figured it was coming last week when Nicole was showing remorse over the idea of divorcing him. They are so going for a traditional soap triangle. And it's not going to work because they not only don't give everyone's POV to make it work, but to even do so, SilkPress HAS to have naunces. And it has to be done in a way that it is balanced out...something the writing has been very uneven with with SilkPress.

I don’t see a triangle at all. Nicole has barely had 5 minutes of letting the ice thaw and now Ted has slept with Leslie on purpose in 2025 after everything she’s done. I don’t want Nicole anywhere near this pathetic man.

I really need for Nicole to have a storyline about *her* or something she is *doing*.

She's a dynamic character and shouldn't be relegated to ONLY
"the woman whose man cheated on her".

'You think she would?'

REALLY, TED, REALLY????????

Not only dumbed down, but like I said...straight man to SilkPress's wackiness.

I want to say the same, but I will have to disagree until the writing shows me otherwise. I said I felt like they were going to try it with the recast back during the anniversary party, and it felt like SilkPress had more of a POV than Nicole which is who the fallout of the story should have been about. Not helped by Ted not doing much to save his marriage, but he suuuure got so many scenes with SilkPress and Eva. The only thing missing for me to feel they would go there with a traditional soap triangle (which they shouldn't) was that Nicole did not seem remorseful about even getting a divorce. But all of a sudden during Chel's kidnapping and Ted's prank, she was trying to be very benefit of the doubt about Ted to everyone, making me side-eye the writing. And I thought (the really good) Nicole/Smitty scenes yesterday was on the nose as well.

Trust and believe...after Monday, I don't want my favorite character with that weak a#$ man. I could have taken a drugging though such a move would have destroyed all of SilkPress's potential. He slept with her WILLINGLY. He can be gone.

Same. Probably while I'm a little heated at this turn of events.
